We all know that Neo V will compress all the pictures that were taken.So when we zoom the quality of picture diminishes. Are there any apps that will enhance the image quality that got compressed ?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a us unlocked version of the d6603 and noticed after a super clean install....(factory reset, then installed updated software .232) the camera seems to overall have much more noise in the image.... Where as photos before the update were much cleaner and had much less noise... Right now it's almost like it has artificial film grain....
The only thing I haven't tried is the factory reset that you do when your battery is above 80 percent..
Very disappointed in the results I've gotten in the first month of using this camera. Even with flash activated in very decent indoor light, the shutter speed seems to default to 1/20 second. Since it's virtually impossible to hold any camera - much less an iPhone - perfectly still at that slow of a speed, the shots are predictably blurry and most are simply unusable. (BTW, none of the shots I'm describing are zoomed and hdr is off.)

Ok, the issues are as follows;The camera so far has delivered nothing but bad photos ! Most of the images are slightly blurry or out of focus, and the colors not quite right.Now I know what this phone can do...yet it doesn't appear to offer much on simple 'auto everything' setting ?
I have only today found out that there is a high res secondary file saved in addition to a standard shot, when viewed through the computer explorer rather than through the phone or email....however, despite this, I have recently taken some shots last weekend which i cannot take again as they were with visiting friends...and lone behold none of them have a secondary high res copy ?!? is there any way to increase the image size and quality of these images with no secondary high res copies or are they doomed ?!
I have an IPhone but its camera doesn't meet my expectations, especially the nonexisting flash. So I've decided to have a phone with a real flash to take pictures. I find these two phones as the best options for me. I can understand that c901 would be better in this area because of being latest released camera phone by SE. C901 costs twice as much. Does the difference in price reflect the image quality? I mean, does the camera on c901 produce way better pictures than the one in k850i?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWHile trying to resolve a no sound from speaker issue I used compressed air on the USB port and when brought to the genius bar was told the phone had been in water because of the LCI .The phone has been nowhere near any moisture but this becomes a moot point with Apple and the LCI.

When uploading my pics for my contacts, (doesn't matter if they're taken from FB or taken with camera), they upload blurry/compressed.
I spent 4.5/hours with customer service agents from Verizon to Motorola. They concluded I needed to exchange my brand new phone after a factory reset and several "cache and data clearings" did not work.
The new phone is doing the exact same thing. I thought I could just deal with the contacts being blurred, until I tried to upload a profile pic onto Skype & I couldn't make it out.
Factory reset does not work for this. Nor does clearing the cache/data.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Z5, upgrading from an iPhone 5S.I've noticed that the panoramas come out just awful. The resolution is low and I get a lot of 'shaking lines' despite none appearing on my iPhone and both were taken with very minimal movement. There don't seem to be any individual Panorama settings but all other settings including the basic camera are set to the highest resolution.
I took a comparison shot of my kitchen with both my 5S and the Z5 and the difference was significant and immediately noticeable. Am I missing something that improves the quality or do I have to just put up with less than acceptable Panorama quality for a phone of this calibre?
Is there any way to improve the resolution of id picture I assign to a contact. The default resolution when phone ringing/calling is quite low but in contact folder is ok (high resolution).

But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).

Most probably x10MP uses the same camera sensor but shoots less noisier photos(though lacks details than XMP). x10MP's minimum ISO is 40 but XMP's minimum is 64. For photos, improving Post Processing Algorithms like 2x1 chroma subsampling and noise reduction will make this device much better.

Whenever I take pictures of like notes and stuff (in the document mode), the quality is great, but when it comes to zooming in, the pixels don't clear up at all, they remain blurry, so in the end the document mode is a complete useless tool! I have seen other phones like the Iphone 4 or the blackberry torch have great quality even when zoomed in, the pixels clear up. I thought sony was known for its camera!

Send the phone for repair 3 times! Sony service center even change mother board and casing but voice quality is ok sometimes but break up most of the time. It was a success but when i switched it on, after sony ericsson written on it, it shows a camera logo sitting on top of a logo of the phone with an arrow pointing towards the phone, somethin like this: the arrow was glowing, i think it was to do something with the camera. I couldn't figure it out and after about 3-4 minutes, it booted up and the phone started. After that when i opened the camera, i found out that the picture was too much pixelated and bad quality even worse than before the update. i tried shooting some video in HD mode, the video also was too bad quality.
