Is there any way to improve the resolution of id picture I assign to a contact. The default resolution when phone ringing/calling is quite low but in contact folder is ok (high resolution).
View 9 RepliesI remember we had a similar problem previously but all we had to do was go into Mediascape and select picture from there and set is as contact picture. But with this 2.3 update I've tried that and it didn't work.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHaving a bit of trouble with the quality of pictures taken from the main camera on my N97.Although, I have the resolution set to max (5mp), the pictures that come out dont look anything like 5mp resolution.I say this because I had a N82 before this which had a 5mp camera, which I guess was pretty much same as N97. I still have my old phone so I compared pictures from both (same object, same conditions) and pictures from N82 were still a lot better than N97.
I have the latest firmware on N97 and have tried all different setting and even tried a hard reset, but cant have it to take good pictures. Although the size once I copy them to my computer says 2592x1944, the details are no where there what they should be.
Please improve the nokia 5800xm camera picture quality.
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust got my 9700 a few weeks ago. The screen is fantastic, the pictures & photos that I transferred to my SD card are shown on the screen with razor sharpness. At least for a while. Then I noticed that when I viewed the photos again from Media -> Pictures, the photos becomes less sharp and appear heavily compressed. This is for both the thumbnail view and the fullscreen sroll view. Does anyone noticed this?
But when I click on Fit to Screen or View Actual Size, the photos become razor sharp again. How do I get the photos to appear razor sharp in the fullscreen scroll view (where I can scroll left and right for next/previous photo)?
If there are no solution to the above, is there any 3rd party app that will allow us to view the photos in fullscreen (and can be scrolled left or right) in full razor sharpness?
i have taken some picture from ELM. quality of camera is very very poor campare to 2MP my preivious w910i.color in camera very less.it takes picture as white color.i tried all setting but nothin changes plzzz someone help me i have replaced it. but both set have same problem.i have attached photograph watch it

I had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter having gone a couple of months withs with Gingerbread without any problems to report I started experiencing a strange thing with incoming calls, texts, emails, etc.For incoming calls, the number displayed is the correct number but the screen pulls an incorrect name from my contacts list and displays a picture (taken from either LinkedIn or Facebook profiles) that is from a third, different contact.So the number is for Contact A and is the actual caller, the name that is displayed is contact B and the photo is contact c.If I go to make an outgoing call, the same thing in the inverse occurs.I choose Contact A and it dials contact A but displays it is calling contact B.This has caused me to have to double & triple check when I am making calls to ensure that it is calling the right contacts.
A similar thing happens for texts, incoming texts display the correct number from which they are originating but display that they are from a different contact name.When I go to send a text and enter a number it indicates that it is sending it to the correct phone number but with a different name assocaited with that number. Finally, something similar is happening in email messaging. If I hit reply, while the actual email address is correct the contact name that it lists is incorrect.
My rear camera picture seems to be blurred when i take a picture within 1metre but seems okay if i take a picture within 5cm? same thing occurs when i record a video either in 4k mode or not. this problem happens after i update my os to 5.0. so i cant really use my camera now except for front camera.i cant use my rear camera because the blur problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Z5, upgrading from an iPhone 5S.I've noticed that the panoramas come out just awful. The resolution is low and I get a lot of 'shaking lines' despite none appearing on my iPhone and both were taken with very minimal movement. There don't seem to be any individual Panorama settings but all other settings including the basic camera are set to the highest resolution.
I took a comparison shot of my kitchen with both my 5S and the Z5 and the difference was significant and immediately noticeable. Am I missing something that improves the quality or do I have to just put up with less than acceptable Panorama quality for a phone of this calibre?
This is my first bb and I love it to bits...I have noticed that today whenever i receive a call I have the same caller id showing as the first person that rang me after I switched my phone on this morning...and that was my wife...so I have been answering "hi gorgeous" to everyone all day!

My xperia ray has good sound quality on the external speaker regarding hights. Female voices for example sound fine. But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).
