I remember we had a similar problem previously but all we had to do was go into Mediascape and select picture from there and set is as contact picture. But with this 2.3 update I've tried that and it didn't work.

So i just updates to the gingerbread 4.5.91 update on my Atrix and now when i go to change a picture from contacts, edit contact, press pic icon... i cant choose what part of the picture i want to use it just uses the whole picture but this way the picture isnt so blurry... if i go to my gallery select a pic, hit the menu button, set as, contact icon i can select what part of the pic i wanna use but then its very blurry... and the original pic is clear as can be..

why does updating facebook status via timescape app in sony xperia neo l shows "via xperia play" instead of via xperia neo l... Suddenly the screen got blurry with spots n bad TV signal when music app was on.
After a while the screen went completely blank. I force switched it off. After three hours I switched it back on. It is showing unstable screen with color spots everywhere.

On two of them, we have option to toggle the home screen picture between stationary (screens slide across the picture) and spread out (larger picture that moves when changing screens). On one of the phones, the toggle switch just isn't there. If I use 3 home screens, for example, and have a picture with 2 people in in it, I have to slide to the next screen to see the other person. Today, I went to my media, then pictures, and ALL of my pictures are blurry now. They were clear before I upgraded. I can't seem to find any support inquiries about this problem anywhere on the web. I am moving all my files off my microsd card so I can format the card, and I'm downgrading my phone in the meanwhile.
Oh, another thing I just remembered is sometimes if people message me at the same time (texting), it'll lock up the most recent message in my inbox. I won't be able to open it or anything. Just freezes it up. I have to delete it, then try texting the person again and it'll open a new message.
I use Handcent for text messages and whenever I send or receive pictures, they end up pixelated and blurry.
