View 8 Replies View RelatedXMP's recorded videos are pixelated and lack details. Most probably x10MP uses the same camera sensor but shoots less noisier photos(though lacks details than XMP). x10MP's minimum ISO is 40 but XMP's minimum is 64. For photos, improving Post Processing Algorithms like 2x1 chroma subsampling and noise reduction will make this device much better.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have problem with nokia n97 mini earpiece.problem started one week ago.I thinked its may be with earpiece. For this purpose changed my sensor+panel+earpiece with new one. but effect is same!
Sometimes earpiece not works, sometimes works!Anybody can explain me why my phone not works normally.Or n97 mini is poor quality phone? (( i am very disappointed that i bought this device. And i bought this phone in dubae, but now i am in azerbaijan! for this purpose i cannot go to the nokia service!
I bought a new n97 mini. Everything is working fine except the camera. The image looks foggy and blurred. Its not only with the camera pictures but also with the video recordings. When I do a half-press (focus), the preview looks decent but the picture taken is bad. Looks like a picture taken in a 1MP cam! I have tested some N97 mini's camera in some shops and I was impressed. Hence I brought it. But unfortunately it looks like a problem in my mobile!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My main usage is Camera and its very frustrating to see images with such bad quality!
It seems to have occurred recently and am wondering if it is related to the recent Nokia camera/beta camera updates. I'm running 8.1 DP but I don't believe I was having this issue before and I don't believe I have had any recent big falls or jolts to the phone that might cause mechanical problems and I believe the zoom works fine in still pictures.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIt was just announced that the IPhone 4 will have zoom for the camera, but will this be real optical zoom, or will it simply be "digital" zoom? Digital zoom is so stupid - I can duplicate the effect of digital zoom by cropping the photo with photoshop afterward. Not only is digital zoom in effect the same a cropping a photo, but because the photo was cropped from the get-go, you have LOST information that you might have wanted. What if you "zoomed in" and took the picture, but mistakenly chopped off the top of your subject's head? That portion of the head was actually being perceived by the camera's sensor, so you could have had a complete photo, but it is now lost forever thanks to digital zoom.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI really hope, that i will find an answer to my issue in here. So the issue is with ZOOM in browser in ICS. As all of may know, in GB we had an opportunity to ZOOM in or out by touching the bottom right side of the screen and after that appeared the small panel with +- buttons for zoom. Now, in ICS at least I don't have it ( maybe it's my particular problem) . I really confused because of it coz i often used this kind of zoom to read some kind of articles and it helped to reflow the text if text size was uncomfortable. With multitouch zoom text doesn't reflow...and this ***** to me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Z5, upgrading from an iPhone 5S.I've noticed that the panoramas come out just awful. The resolution is low and I get a lot of 'shaking lines' despite none appearing on my iPhone and both were taken with very minimal movement. There don't seem to be any individual Panorama settings but all other settings including the basic camera are set to the highest resolution.
I took a comparison shot of my kitchen with both my 5S and the Z5 and the difference was significant and immediately noticeable. Am I missing something that improves the quality or do I have to just put up with less than acceptable Panorama quality for a phone of this calibre?
how to enable zoom option in browser?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy xperia ray has good sound quality on the external speaker regarding hights. Female voices for example sound fine. But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).
