Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Zoom In Internet Browser In ICS?
May 1, 2012
I really hope, that i will find an answer to my issue in here. So the issue is with ZOOM in browser in ICS. As all of may know, in GB we had an opportunity to ZOOM in or out by touching the bottom right side of the screen and after that appeared the small panel with +- buttons for zoom. Now, in ICS at least I don't have it ( maybe it's my particular problem) . I really confused because of it coz i often used this kind of zoom to read some kind of articles and it helped to reflow the text if text size was uncomfortable. With multitouch zoom text doesn't reflow...and this ***** to me.
I have been using the preinstalled bookmark for mobile facebook (not the app) and have noticed that the zoom buttons are no longer there, I have been using them up till now.
On the E71 internet browser: Go to the options -> Zoom options. There you'll find that the 100% is checked. But I remember changed it to 50% the last time I used the browser... And the time before, and before, and everytime I use the goddam thing. Why wont this piece of $h!t remember my setting?
I've recently bought the Xperia X10 mini handset and since it was unable to download the settings from my service provider, I had to manually do the APN setup. However, I was successful getting the internet from my handset browser but not from the applications like Email, Gmail, GTalk, Sony Ericsson Sync, and Market. I've got the notification icon for EDGE data transmission and is being indicated when accessed from the browser but not from the applications. Do I need to do any other setting in order to access the internet from the applications?
My web browser works perfectly fine. But none of the applications that access the internet - such as gmail, facebook, market, etc. work. They show a "connectivity error" kind of message. am led to think whether there is some global setting that these applications use, which doesn't allow them to access the internet settings somehow?I did a factory reset, I also used the Sony Ericsson update service and did an upgrade to Android 2.1...
My main email account is with yahoo and although I've entered the pop3 and then the imap settings that yahoo tell me are correct, I cannot get the email set up on my phone. how to do this without having to access my account via internet browser?

I recently unlocked my 8520 from t-mobile to at&t, i have the data plan with both providers. After i started using the 8520 on the at&t network i noticed that i cannot change my setting from hotspot browser to internet browser anymore which in turn i cannot use the data service with at&t that i am paying for. I bought BB 8900 from T-Mobile without bb plan a few days ago. How can I get BlackBerry browser or Internet Browser, because my bb has only hotspot browser? Can I get them without bb plan?
It seems to have occurred recently and am wondering if it is related to the recent Nokia camera/beta camera updates. I'm running 8.1 DP but I don't believe I was having this issue before and I don't believe I have had any recent big falls or jolts to the phone that might cause mechanical problems and I believe the zoom works fine in still pictures.
It was just announced that the IPhone 4 will have zoom for the camera, but will this be real optical zoom, or will it simply be "digital" zoom? Digital zoom is so stupid - I can duplicate the effect of digital zoom by cropping the photo with photoshop afterward. Not only is digital zoom in effect the same a cropping a photo, but because the photo was cropped from the get-go, you have LOST information that you might have wanted. What if you "zoomed in" and took the picture, but mistakenly chopped off the top of your subject's head? That portion of the head was actually being perceived by the camera's sensor, so you could have had a complete photo, but it is now lost forever thanks to digital zoom.
Mainly happens while on facebook mobile, and will occure while typing completely randomly. The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.
My sony xperia neo l doesnt have zoom feature in it. I want to add zoom feature to it, some third party app which will perfectly with my neo l to add zoom feature.
Disappointed there is no zoom facility on my new xperia play. Do you know if there is any app available to create a zoom for TAKING videos (not editing) or if there is any thing forthcoming in software updates that will remedy this?
