Aug 23, 2010I recently bought a nokia n95 (the silver european one) and I have this sony ericsson k510i and I have too many contacts to fit them all on a SIM card so I was wondering is there any alternate way to get the contacts transfered from the SE to the nokia and please note that the k510i does not have a memory card :/

I used Sony Bridge for Mac doing that. It said, that in the end it would be a "pop up" on my phone giving me further instructions how to open the apps, messages on the phone - but It never came one.I can see that the content is over, because it now have 9GB less memory than before, but how I can come in contact with the content.

Sep 4, 2012I would like to transfer my Contacts from my X8 to a PC and a Nokia phone. When I export my contacts list, it creates a VCF file containing (supposed to be) all my contacts but it only has 1 contact (the first in the list). I tried viewing this file using PC Companion and it was confirmed that it only contains 1 contact. I tried transfering (Copy/Paste) this to my PC and opened this in MS Outlook, only 1 contact was opened. I tried the 'Send All Contacts' via bluetooth and it also transfered 1 contact.

Nov 24, 2010Did two different bacups, and I am positive that I did backup of contacts. Also did a bacup of all contacts on my online account at [URL] Did an upgrade of android 1.6 -> 2.1.
I ran restore. Everythinge else is restored, just not one single Name or Number. No contacts. Tried both bacups several times, I get a confirmation that the restore is done. Still nothing.
Hooked it up to my PC, and performed a sync with my page on sonyericsson.com. Nothing. It's always a small disaster to loose all numbers and names. I still have them all, I just can't get my phone to give a ****, it seems.
( Also tried installing the new Backup & Restore (1. Nov), [URL], but it gives me the message "not installed" every time i try. Nothing more. I think maybe it's because I might allready have that program on my phone)

First, it asks to disconnect my old phone from my computer, then to reconnect. Finally it ends the operation saying "A memory card must be inserted in the phone". I changed the memory card to put a new 8GB card. But I'm fed up to see the same message again and again.

Jan 8, 2011I have just spent ages typing all my contacts on the Sony Ericsson website. I then connected my phone and did the sync. All appeared to go well... appeared. The problem is is that all contact names were transferred, but very little of the actual contact details. Only one phone number or an email address, but never a street address, birthday etc etc. I don't have an sd card. Could that be it? Just the most basic information has been transferred. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong/what step I've missed.

It asks me to look for a VCard file, but all I could see was a contacts.csv fle which I thought was the one, but it said "Could not export" or something to that effect. I know the synch works otherwise because I have been able to change my bookmarks online.

Sep 29, 2010I can't seem to work out how to transfer pictures to my Sony Vivaz Pro. I've tried right clicking on the Sony Ericsson drive thing and clicking explore, going into the image folder and pasting in pictures but that didn't seem to do anything. Then I tried Media Go and copied pictures into the Vivaz Pro bit but it still didn't seem to pick up any pictures on the phone. Also both of these methods seemed to make photos I'd taken with the camera break so I can't view them on the phone, then when I pressed on the "update media" bit the phone doesn't detect any photos I'd taken on the camera at all, however switching the phone off and back on again and it finds them.
