I cannot sync my contacts from my phone to my pc. I have faithfully followed the instruction, but it goes no further than the Import page. It asks me to look for a VCard file, but all I could see was a contacts.csv fle which I thought was the one, but it said "Could not export" or something to that effect. I know the synch works otherwise because I have been able to change my bookmarks online.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

It has performed a sync today but only the contacts have done this successfully along with one event on my calander. On my phone, I have a message stating that 'sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly'. The problem is that it has said this for around four weeks. It seems to have gone pear shaped since I upgraded to 2.1.

When I go to the Sync tab, I press the button for add a new account, then I select Sony Ericsson, I enter my username and password (I checked that the're correct by logging In via web on mi Desktop computer), but when I try to access nothing happens.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi bought a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini a couple of weeks ago, works fine but i was downloading live wallpapers from android store and there was one called DIY wallpaper and it made the lock screen look like an iphone one. so i installed it and it asked me if i wanted to change my home screen to the new one and i clicked yes, then my screen went black. I can use the drop down bar but if i click on a notifcation in there nothing comes up on the screen. I can see the start up screen and all that and the unlock screen it all works just no home screen. Ive tried reseting by holding lock button and home button for 4 seconds it resarted but it was the same i could only use the drop down bar.and one more thing, ive connected to computer but i cant get it to do the usb connect because i cant click it on the phone screen.

And it will always auto off. But there is no problem to on. Now, I cannot even on it! It only flashes black light but the word 'sony ericsson' was not showed just like the past. I have a Sony Ericsson watch type DGA 0002001 which could be used for blue tooth connection with other mobile telephones. It worked very good with my old telephone K550I. I could see and feel if I had a massage or telephone while the phone itselves was in a bag or else. Even I could use the music player by pressing knots on my watch. All this I cannot use anymore?

However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.

The account is well configured and the sync starts and ends "fine".
syncing my mini pro to google - especially calendar and contacts, theese are the two most important features of the phone for me. In the past but more often recently (actually every time I sync via internet connection), I get theese notifications: am using Bussines Calander Free app as my calendar app. Could this be issue with PC Companion or with BCF?

I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
My Xperia X10 Mini remain stationary with the welcome message "Sony Ericsson". I've tried a lot of time with hard reset (turn button + home button), i've also tried to connect it to my pc and start pc companion... it recognize the xperia but it can't 'repair' the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just spent ages typing all my contacts on the Sony Ericsson website. I then connected my phone and did the sync. All appeared to go well... appeared. The problem is is that all contact names were transferred, but very little of the actual contact details. Only one phone number or an email address, but never a street address, birthday etc etc. I don't have an sd card. Could that be it? Just the most basic information has been transferred. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong/what step I've missed.

1) How could I have avoided this problem?
2) How can I get my contacts back? They are not in my google contacts.
3) Is there any way to turn off the sync order in Ericsson Sync so that the latest update does NOT overwrite the other. The trouble is that if I am to add all my lost contacts "by hand" in Ericsson Sync, and thereafter delete the few contacts still on my phone, then the deletion is the latest event - and that will overwrite my additions in Ericsson Sync... I am really bothered by this Ericsson Sync - I canīt really se the point of it, have I missed something?
Updated my X10 with latest 3.0.1 update couple of days ago.Configured SE Facebook sync for Albums in Gallery and Calendar to sync.Now I am Unable to remove the SE Facebook sync from the General Sync Settings list !!! Every time I choose Remove Account it disseapears and appears immediately.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.
