I updated the address and email information of all my contacts via the sony ericsson site but when I sync it to my phone the data doesn't show up on my X10. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution? It would be much appreciated!

My xDSL provider provides me with a wireless router which I have been using for ten years with no problem. I get 5 public IP addresses and when they are all assigned to MAC addresses I simply restart the xDSL modem to connect a new device. The following happens when I connect to my xDSL WiFi connection.
1. I have to enter the WEP security code (why doesn't Satio remember this so I don't have to enter it each time?)
2. It gives the message 'Connecting to my Wifi node'
3. It gives the message 'Checking internet connectivity' (I am assuming it is checking to see if the IP address is assigned)
4. It tries to go to my homepage www.google.com (shows a blank screen)
5. Then it times out and gives me an error message "Internet: No gateway reply" HOW DO I SEE WHAT IP ADDRESS HAS BEEN ASSIGNED BY MY WIFI NODE?
I set up for a sync. My phone bookmarks syncs but contacts and calendar will not. There are no error messages or anything. Is there a reason for this?
In fact things on Sony Ericsson sync calendar end up on my phone but things on my phone don't get to my web calendar

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently went into the lake with my iPhone 4 in my pocket. I tried the rice trick, but no luck. Although I do still have my very first iPhone the 1st Gen. I went into the AT&T store to give me a new SIM for it and it started up. When I went home to sync it to my computer, I couldn't restore it from my iPhone 4 because the software was too old on the 1st Gen. It is on 3.1.3 and will not allow me to go any higher. My biggest problem is syncing my contacts from Address Book. It will not allow my in the info tab. It says sync contacts but nothing from my address book is there. Only Yahoo and Google options. How do I get my Address Book on here?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just synced my new blackberry bold 9780 with my pc via the desktop software.The first time it synced no problem as all but I now have duplicate contacts for both email address's and now it wont sync at all. Comes up with an error saying yahoo server is temporary unavailable.This happened with my old blackberry too and I never did manage to get it solved as Vodafone was saying its Yahoo problem and yahoo was saying it was a vodafone problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, I reset my phone's settings. I made gmail the default email account on my phone and changed the port to 443. The only option it offers is my Windows Address Book, which apparently isn't even a thing anymore (it's now Windows contacts).I don't want to pay for the cloud because I don't think I'll have this phone much longer and I can't afford a new (or even used) iPhone...

How can I sync the calender and contact in my at&t C905a to the new at&t Xperia X10? On AT&T's site,it says to use PC Suite,which I already have in my notebook pc to back up and sync with Outlook in my pc. Is this true? And why can't I sync using SE Sync? Is it because the phone (C905a) is locked out?

I follow the step by step instructions on this site, but I only get to the point when they tell me I will receive an SMS with instructions, after I give my phone type and phone number. As nothing happens, I tried "manual setup". Then, all I see is "Manual Setup", completely blank, with no instruction whatsoever! All I can click is "Done", but nothing can be done if I don't receive the sms and if there are no instructions for manual setup. How is that supposed to work? This site is a joke! I would be done sooner copying all my contacts one by one into the new phone or sending them one by one via Bluetooth!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

After iOS 5 and this whole iCloud business, my contacts on my iPhone have become a mess... I can no longer add a contact on my phone and expect it to be added to my Address Book automatically after the next sync, and the whole 'Groups' thing confuses the crap out of me. I have my Yahoo account linked, but now I don't actually want anything to do with Yahoo (or Google) when it comes to my contacts: all I want is contacts on my phone and on my Mac, nothing else. I'll get iCloud up and running once I upgrade to Mountain Lion, but not bef?

I recently bought a nokia n95 (the silver european one) and I have this sony ericsson k510i and I have too many contacts to fit them all on a SIM card so I was wondering is there any alternate way to get the contacts transfered from the SE to the nokia and please note that the k510i does not have a memory card :/
