Just upgraded to 2.1 . However , i lost majority of my contacts . For example , in messaging , it only displays their numbers and it does not show up in contacts list . I have all my contacts in SE sync however i cannot log in . When i try to log in into SE sync from phone , after typing username and password and pressing ( touching ) log in , nothing happens .

How can I sync the calender and contact in my at&t C905a to the new at&t Xperia X10? On AT&T's site,it says to use PC Suite,which I already have in my notebook pc to back up and sync with Outlook in my pc. Is this true? And why can't I sync using SE Sync? Is it because the phone (C905a) is locked out?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

It has performed a sync today but only the contacts have done this successfully along with one event on my calander. On my phone, I have a message stating that 'sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly'. The problem is that it has said this for around four weeks. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not able to Connect my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 min pro through PC Companion either by USB or by Bluetooth. I tried all the permutations and combinations suggested by Sony Ericsson support pages, yet no resort.
However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.
I've tried several times to synchronise my new W995 to this site. However, the sync setup won't work. I follow the step by step instructions on this site, but I only get to the point when they tell me I will receive an SMS with instructions, after I give my phone type and phone number. As nothing happens, I tried "manual setup". Then, all I see is "Manual Setup", completely blank, with no instruction whatsoever! All I can click is "Done", but nothing can be done if I don't receive the sms and if there are no instructions for manual setup. How is that supposed to work? This site is a joke! I would be done sooner copying all my contacts one by one into the new phone or sending them one by one via Bluetooth!

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought Spiro and updated the software. Now I wanted to update the contacts from my old W200i to this one. Checked SYNC but Spiro doesn't come up in the list of the phones. Some forum digging made me realize that Spiro is also not compatible with PC Suite too. Will Spiro support PC Suite/Online Sync in the near future or SE? Except for some connector issues my W200i had worked brilliantly. I wanted Spiro to tide some time till I get an android from SE only. I have advocated SE to the point of being labeled a fanboy and now this. I am having serious doubt about SE's commitment towards its consumers.

I'm trying Settings->Application->Messaging->SyncEmail but after completing all the steps nothing happens. I've read about RoadSync but I don't have it on my phone (got it from Vodafone Italy), and it doesn't seem fair to have to pay for something I definitely expect a smartphone to be able to do for free. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have this model phone which has been working very well until today.It started by not sending a text message, and then seemed to go out of signal.I have tried everything normal - resetting, testing phone out with another sim etc.It appears that the sim is the problem as it will not work in another handset, and is displaying no signal there.In the W380i, there is a strange symbol, a telephone with a red line through it, which I cannot trace anywhere in the user manual or online.Does anyone know what this indicates? - ie is it a network fault, or something wrong with the sim?

After that, I tried to open my inbox again too, but the same error occured. Whenever I try to open my inbox, the loading sign will appear, then the notification pops up again.
Even after I restarted my phone and etc, the problem still persists.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMY w890i camera stopped functioning normally in June. I didn't really need a camera so I just assumed I had goofed something up & didn't pay much attention to it. Now my real camera is in the repair shop & I set about figuring out what I goofed with my camera phone and can find nothing. I have it set to save to memory card. there's a 2GB card in there that has very little space used on it (less than 500mb) but when I open the camera function and take a picture it does one of two things: a) makes the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken, then the screen turns gray,the word "saving" appears in the middle and then the screen goes back to the ability to take a picture or b) i hear the shutter noise indicating a picture was taken & then the screen goes back to the menu. When the camera was working properly i would hear the shutter noise, get a gray screen with the word "saving" in the middle and then the picture would display on the screen until i pressed a button. Anyway, I hooked it up to the computer & it downloaded an upgrade, that didn't help, I re-set factory defaults, that didn't help, and finally I plugged the phone into the SE PC Suite & ran "phone repair" that too did not help. I haven't seen any similar complaints on any of the forums I've checked so I'd like to get some advice on what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
