Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Suddenly Sony Ericsson Conversation Application Fails While Messaging?
Dec 21, 2010
i lost all my messages as suddenly my sony ericsson conversation application got failed. It asked me to force close it but when it did that it asked me to do it again and again. so i switched off my mobile and when i turned it on all my messages were gone?
After looking over upgrade options, he settled on a Vivaz. We have AT&T's Family Plan. He proceeded to start using the built-in Instant Messaging app, which I endorsed because it had the AOL Instant Messenger logo right in it. I assumed that the Instant Messenger use would use his Internet Data Plan. Surprise when I got the first month's bill and AT&T saw fit to route those messages out their SMS system and hit me with close to $40 in "extra TXT" fees. I'm going to ruin one of their employee's day tomorrow. But that's not why I'm here. I deleted that infernal IM app and have found eBuddy, with which I am familiar. I have downloaded it to the Vivaz and it runs, but when it starts is asks for permission to use the Internet, and then it sits there and says "installing". WHen I click "Cancel", I am told: "Your Internet settings must be activated for Java applications, or try again later. Check your phone manual or www.ebuddy.com on how to do this." Well, neither place mentions anything about this. How can I get this application to run?
Recently I've upgraded my SE Xperia mini pro to Android Icecream Sandwich 4.0.After upgrading I'm facing issue with Inbuilt Messaging application. It immediately clears all my messages, thereafter all messages appears back some time later .Even problem appearing in 3rd Party - PANSI Messaging application too.I've grouped my messages in folders other than to keep all in Inbox. This immediately removes all messages from folders and sits all in INBOX which is very time consuming for grouping again n again.
I have this message: The application Messaging (process com.sonyericsson.conversations) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. And a button "Force close" This message appears when I open my Messaging icon, when I open new incoming message and when I try to send a message. At the moment I can receive, but can't send any messages at all. This problem just happened on its own. Everything was fine. I was sending messages to my friends with Happy New Year stuff and then bam!I have Xperia X10 mini pro with Android 2.1?
i found out that there's a Conversations folder when i open the memory card of my phone on my PC,but there's nothing inside the folder.I would like to copy my conversations and be able to view it in my PC.can somebody help me?
why my w995 dont have conversation tab at all? does anyone know why? or how? let me know please!i really want it in conversations!software version is:R1HA035
recently had a replacement c905. the new one sent to me doesn't have the sms conversation, or Internet etc. tried a software upgrade, but am told i already have the latest software.
The conversation tab has just disappeared from my phone for no apparent reason, I use it all the time and find it really handy but when I checked my messages yesterday it wasn`t there any more. I`ve tried turning the phone on and off and taking the battery out but nothing helps. am I missing something obvious?
I just bought a hazel phone last week. I noticed that in the Messaging box there, the conversation tab is missing!I like this function very much i try to re-intall the firmware also doesn't help anything. Anyone have the same problem with me? and anyone could tell me how to solve this problem?
I can't remember what new SE I saw this on but all texts you've sent to someone appear as a IM conversation in a list. Rather than individual messages. Wondering if I can get this on my C902?
how to remove conversation mode of messaging in sony xperia ray. I just want to organise my messages in different folder like inbox, outbox, setitems etc.
I can't add my Sony Ericsson account to my X10 mini pro. When I go to the Sync tab, I press the button for add a new account, then I select Sony Ericsson, I enter my username and password (I checked that the're correct by logging In via web on mi Desktop computer), but when I try to access nothing happens.
I've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.
Sony Ericsson-phones should have a built-in audio-recorder (similar to the iPhone). I know that there are apps for this, but it this should be built-in so that you don't have to search and download additional apps for this basic feature.
i bought a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini a couple of weeks ago, works fine but i was downloading live wallpapers from android store and there was one called DIY wallpaper and it made the lock screen look like an iphone one. so i installed it and it asked me if i wanted to change my home screen to the new one and i clicked yes, then my screen went black. I can use the drop down bar but if i click on a notifcation in there nothing comes up on the screen. I can see the start up screen and all that and the unlock screen it all works just no home screen. Ive tried reseting by holding lock button and home button for 4 seconds it resarted but it was the same i could only use the drop down bar.and one more thing, ive connected to computer but i cant get it to do the usb connect because i cant click it on the phone screen.
My Sony Ericsson x10 Mini Pro doesn't start up! The past few days, when I used the keyboard to type, the screen will have some problem then hang. And it will always auto off. But there is no problem to on. Now, I cannot even on it! It only flashes black light but the word 'sony ericsson' was not showed just like the past. I am sure there is still battery inside as I charged it the day before.
I signed into the three accounts - google account, facebook account and SE account - when asked to do so while running the setup gide for my Xperia Mini. I have also registered my phone. However, I keep on getting the following message for SE account:
Could not synchronise Invalid server address. Please check account settings.
I checked the account setting. It shows the server address as [URL]
I have a Sony Ericsson watch type DGA 0002001 which could be used for blue tooth connection with other mobile telephones. It worked very good with my old telephone K550I. I could see and feel if I had a massage or telephone while the phone itselves was in a bag or else. Even I could use the music player by pressing knots on my watch. All this I cannot use anymore?
I am not able to Connect my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 min pro through PC Companion either by USB or by Bluetooth. I tried all the permutations and combinations suggested by Sony Ericsson support pages, yet no resort.
However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.
I am having real trouble syncing my phone to either Google or Sony ericsson. I would really want to because i would like to download some of my personal messages onto my email address so i can eventually put them onto a disc.
how to properly sync the x10 mini with my Sony Ericsson account. I have set up properly on both my phone and on my computer. It has performed a sync today but only the contacts have done this successfully along with one event on my calander. On my phone, I have a message stating that 'sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly'. The problem is that it has said this for around four weeks. It seems to have gone pear shaped since I upgraded to 2.1.
I have XPERIA X10 mini. After synhronization everything exept contracts appears on my personal page in Sony Ericsson Sync place. I did everything as was recommended in instructions, several times: by hand and automatically, but without result in any case...
I think I have bricked my phone I don't know how. I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
My Xperia X10 Mini remain stationary with the welcome message "Sony Ericsson". I've tried a lot of time with hard reset (turn button + home button), i've also tried to connect it to my pc and start pc companion... it recognize the xperia but it can't 'repair' the phone.
I have a new Satio and am trying to set up road sync. I am on hotmail. Have tried putting server as hotmail.com and domain as my email address, but it fails when linking. I also am selecting the second option that says 3 as this is my network (it offers three other options , one of which is 3mms).
I am trying to flash my C702 using the Update Service, however the update fails during the "Downloading" part, before the actual flashing begins. I have investigated this using wireshark and have discovered that the update program encounters a 404 file not found error. My internet connection is definitely working. Presumably the 404 error is why the update process fails. Is there any workaround I can use, or any chance that someone at Sony Ericsson could look into this matter?
I've had my Satio for a few months now and its been working just how i would imagine it too. Accept from today I have tried to send texts but then find that they are waiting in the outbox saying it will try to resend the message again in a few minutes. I have tried to send a text to other contacts to see if it was a problem with the other person but this still happens. The message wont actually send. I sometimes receive a text saying that "You have a message waiting but your inbox is full" and it says that I should delete my inbox to create space. So i now have an empty inbox and still receive this text... Lastly I have tried to update my phone but this still hasn't fixed this problem! Is there anyway of fixing this?
