ive recently got the sony xperia mini x10ive saved my contacts from my old phone to my sim card .i inserted it into the sony . but i cant find how to import them ... ive tried pc companion and i cant sync either .

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have just spent ages typing all my contacts on the Sony Ericsson website. I then connected my phone and did the sync. All appeared to go well... appeared. The problem is is that all contact names were transferred, but very little of the actual contact details. Only one phone number or an email address, but never a street address, birthday etc etc. I don't have an sd card. Could that be it? Just the most basic information has been transferred. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong/what step I've missed.

It asks me to look for a VCard file, but all I could see was a contacts.csv fle which I thought was the one, but it said "Could not export" or something to that effect. I know the synch works otherwise because I have been able to change my bookmarks online.

That is: When I go into the elevator , It could not get through (normal situation) But when I am out of the elevator,My aino still could not find any signal for transmisson (this ocuurs everytime when I am out of the lift or somewhere such as ktv,restaurant and so on if I turn off the cell the phone and then restart ,it could work again. and it is the only way available to solve the problem. My xDSL provider provides me with a wireless router which I have been using for ten years with no problem. I get 5 public IP addresses and when they are all assigned to MAC addresses I simply restart the xDSL modem to connect a new device. The following happens when I connect to my xDSL WiFi connection.
1. I have to enter the WEP security code (why doesn't Satio remember this so I don't have to enter it each time?)
2. It gives the message 'Connecting to my Wifi node'
3. It gives the message 'Checking internet connectivity' (I am assuming it is checking to see if the IP address is assigned)
4. It tries to go to my homepage www.google.com (shows a blank screen)
5. Then it times out and gives me an error message "Internet: No gateway reply" HOW DO I SEE WHAT IP ADDRESS HAS BEEN ASSIGNED BY MY WIFI NODE?
C905. It's a great phone and I have it for almost a year now. But yesterday I did a firmware update and now if I take a photo with the camera I can't find where it stores it. If I look at my pictures they're not there. I checked my settings and it should be saving the pictures on my memory card. I checked the remaining space on my memory card after taking picture and it changes. If I take a pictures it also says it's saving it. If I let it save on the mobile phone itself I can find them and I can find my videos on my memory card too.

But let's take things from the beginning.
I'm a NON proud owner (no more) of a SE XPERIA X10. I bought this phone for 600 Euro, almost a year ago The support and solutions I found to my problems with this phone was absolutely NONE! Nobody cares if you have a problem with a 600 Euro piece and you have almost no support from SE. We spent 8 months trying to persuade SE to release 2.3.3 for X10 only to find out that half of the things were removed from the phone and that most of the things you can do with PC Companion Wirelessly with all the other phones, you CANNOT do them with X10!!! Not to mention the speed of the phone.

They are saved in my documents folder although when I try to open the file I receive an error message saying I don't have an app to open file. When I try to find an application to open the doc file such as Word I get another message saying the file is corrupt and can not be opened.
