Samsung :: Metro S3310 - Dictionary Application Kinda - Difficult To Handle

hi guys i bought a new samsung metro s3310. i kinda have problems with the java in it. i installed a oxford dictionary (java)(from mobiles24.com) in that mobile. but that dictionary application works kind a different. wen i installed the same application in nokia and sony ericcson mobile (the left softkey is for selecting a word, right softkey is for deleting a character). but in samsung metro (left softkey is for selecting a word, right softkey is exit). so i very difficult to handle this kinda applications in this mob. there is similar kinda problem in other java applications also. how to rectify this kinda problem.
When ever I take backup of my blackberry 8900 I get a message displayed on screen after the back up is done saying "Uncaught exception: module with handle [7424] and index [0] has no application entry point
OK my quick launch weather is not working i tried everything, It installed successful it says but after it says that this popped up Uncaught exception: Module with handle [5068] and index [0] has no application entry point. I uninstalled then reinstalled it,, battery pulled nothing is working. Im on 4.5.0.186 metro pcs 8330m curve
I have a samsung finesse for metro pcs and I am trying to sawp the esn with my moto hint. I bought a samsung finesse of of craigslist and the phone turned out to be on the bill not paid list . I can't get in touch with the seller b/c i was scammed! Anyways, I found how to use qpst and ect... but when i get into it I can't access the nvm folder!!! It has a huge red cross through it and is empty when i click on it. I have tried everything to unlock it but can't! If anyone knows how to unlock the nvm folder for the samsung finesse on metro pcs!
i have been looking for the lock code under Menu> 3 > * > lock code:=? i have tried 450667 but it will not work! does anyone have a list of the codes? another thing i have a Sprint Samsung instinct that i just flashed over to metro i fixed the web and now need to fix the mms. if i could get into that menu in my messenger it would show me the settings.
I need a dictionary (English - English )which can works on my mobile phone SAMSUNG GT-S5233W and any other softwares. I tried to download it but all the jar , java files don't work on this type. I dnt know why.
Is there a way to access the predictive text dictionary on a Samsung 490 (Trance)?It has saved several 2 letter words that aren't actually words that screw up my messaging and yet I can't get it to save my name.
I've just been reading in Android Magazine (a very good read) that I can edit my User Dictionary by going to:
Menu | Settings | Language & Keyboard | User Dictionary.
Except I can't as "User Dictionary" does not appear under "Language & Keyboard". I presume Samsung have moved it somewhere else. Does anyone know where?
I have Gingerbread UGKG2. When I first started swyping I'll admit I didn't really know what I was doing. I'd correct a word and if it said "would you like to add 'es' to the dictionary" (or whatever I had typed in) I just said yes. Now it keeps putting in these non-words and I can't get rid of them. I've seen the threads where people point out where the dictionary is found in other O/S's but not this one. I've also seen people post that you just highlight the word and you'll have the option of deleting it from the dictionary, no so on my phone..
Its a new phone i got. After unboxing, i noticed that, the "0" key, which is also space key, is really soft (like a touch button) and all other keys are normal like a click button.I thought, it is made like this by nokia, because it is a spacebar so its good if its soft. But when i asked other people, they say, their all buttons are same.
I'm coming from an iPhone 3GS and I'm having great difficulty getting use to the Nexus One keyboard. The autocorrect feature is somewhat annoying and seems to be less accurate than the iPhone. (Disabling autocorrect, it's even MORE annoying) Also another thing that bothers me is I'm constantly accidentally tapping the period key instead of the space bar. Overall the keyboard isn't as fluid and I find myself typing a lot slower. A lot of times random spaces between letters in words show up..Is it because it lacks multi-touch? Is there any tips on how to make it easier? I like the phone overall, but the keyboard is just annoying me
Several times in the last week, I have not had a 4G signal on my Droid 4, and it would not fall back to 3G. All I got was "no network found" or similar wording. I live in Orange County, CA, and signal is usually very good. The only way to get a signal was to power off and back on again. I suppose airplane mode would have forced it to re-seek a signal, but I just thought of that one.
Also, when I woke up this morning (2/22/12) at 5:55AM, there was no 3G or 4G. I tried to send an email. and it said no network was available. I turned off the phone and turned it back on, and had the same problem. I turned on WiFi, sent the email, turned off WiFi, and went back to sleep. At 9:00AM, I checked again and it had a good 4G signal.Does this phone have a problem, or is it VZW that causes 3G fallback to fail? How can I tell if there was an overall VZW outage this morning or if the phone just wigged out?
I used the iTunes method and created a m4r file. It shows up under Ringtones in the Library. I just can't get it onto my iPhone even after syncing. Can someone please help me?
Note: I used the exact same method and managed to add a ringtone to my phone a few days ago. But somehow it magically disappeared and now I can't add any ringtones.
how i can fix my blackberry curve 8520 or is it to be deemed unfixable?
I have been having difficulties unlocking the handset and have to hold the mute button for a long period of time, however when i came to use it the other day even this didnt work and when i managed to get it to work but it automatically locked after only a few seconds.
when i can get my phone to work the majority of the buttons fail to work. The warranty ran out on it 5 months ago and it is on pay as you go, but would carphone warehouse (where i brought the phone from)
I have an issue with phone call volume (not from speaker or when using the headset). It works but its very difficult to hear. It's created by update and I can go back.
I was wondering what you guys did when your iPhone's sleep/power button was frozen. Mine still works, but it is very difficult to use. I have to hit it a few times for it to actually turn off. It is very difficult, and it acts like it is stuck or jammed.
Just joined the form and did a search for this, but didn't see another discussion on it. If my RAZR is plugged into a power outlet and is fully charged, it is very difficult/almost impossible to unlock the screen. I grab the unlock spot on the left ant try to slide it to the right, but it takes several tries, using extra force to get it to slide. Underneath the slide bar I see the message that my RAZR is fully charged and to unplug it from the outlet.If I unplug it first, it unlocks just fine. Guy I work with just got a new one and it's the same way. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? Obviously this isn't a big deal, but was just curious.
After upgrade of my iphone 5s to ios 7.1.2, I am not able to open iphone ikon- Internal Storage-DCIM - in My computer..The folder is shown as empty.I use Window 8.1 loaded on my Macbook air 13" July 2013 model...Should I stop using iphone for photography and use my Canon DSLR...Taking photo is easy with iphone 5s. But retreiving the photo/video.
iPhone 6 opens in Huge Soom mode, where you can only see one of the 10 digits on screen - making it almost impossible to even sign in - much less get to settings to try and change this. this is about to send me back to my 5 - no one seems able to address?
I've a 32GB memory card placed in my BB9780.When I store les than 2GB of music on this card, i all works fine;Under music all artists, albums, songs are ranked the way it should be.However the moment I cross the 2GB all new songs are not categorized anymore.the songs are saved on the card but no name of the artist or song or from which album is stored to itcould anybody inform me whether or not it is possible to store more than 2GB of music on a BB9780 and if so how I can solve this problem
I have a PC with windows vista and one for w7, they both have the same problem.Downloaded the divice driver than the device manager but when connet the two device it sais does not have divce softwear and keep on asking for CD - which of course never comes with it. So can not connet the two. How can I fix this problem.

I have a HTC Hero working on metro with voice,text and web some apps work but some do not. most work through wifi. does anyone have any ideas about mms and getting all apps to work through network vs wifi. there is a guy in Hamtramk who has supposedly gotten everything working through metro. for about $100 he will take my phone and add mms.
I have 2 personal, 2 work, 2 miscellaneous email accounts. I combined the 2 personal into a "personal" folder, the 2 work in a "Work" folder and left the other 2 alone. I have 4 email accounts on my first 2 rows. You know what I mean, right? How do you manage your accounts? Do you have separate email accounts on your screen? How do you combine them? I know it is a personal preference but I am willing to try a new trick (even as an old dog!)
I was wondering how the hell do u uninstall a application. I've download from the Samsung store. I've looked everywhere but there's just no option for uninstalling software?
I bought a LG Dare (vx9700) from a friend. I have the metropcs network. I took it to a store and they where able to flash it and get voice and text. I later got the internet working thanks to this wonderful site. I never got MMS working but did not care to at the time. I could always receive MMS, i just could not send them. Considering the fact that i was so successful getting the internet to work, i figured i would give MMS another shot. I found a tutorial on how to get the MMS working through LGDownload, I only edited the MMS tab then i wrote the new config to the phone. However when the phone rebooted, I had nothing, no voice, no text, and no internet. Is there anyone on here that can help me or that is going throught the same problem?
