I have a PC with windows vista and one for w7, they both have the same problem.Downloaded the divice driver than the device manager but when connet the two device it sais does not have divce softwear and keep on asking for CD - which of course never comes with it. So can not connet the two.
How can I fix this problem.
Where do I get a HDMI Cable for 9700? most websites seem to only supply for Playbook, with a different adaptor....
View 1 Replies View RelatedI switched from a 9000 to a 9700 so I bought mini to micro adapters to use on my car charger and my USB cable so that I wouldn't have to buy a bunch of new chargers.
When I plug my USB cable into my Belkin power block or cigarette adapter it won't charge, but if I plug in my wall charger or plug the cable into my USB port on my computer, it will charge my 9700. Both the power block and the cigarette adapter will charge my iPod, so I know it isn't the power block.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?
My phone dropped into water a week ago.Aftter drying it, the phone is working fine when I connect it to my pc.When I remove the usb cable it turns off and error jvm 545 pops up.Then I do a master reset and then reloading the OS,.Working fine and then the same thing happen again.

Desktop appears gray, it recognizes my phone PIN and model, but it doesnt works. It appears freeze. Also the phone icons appears freezed. Shows the PC and the phone, but none moves. I tried with other PC, but the situations remains similar. What is happening?

The Top one is the one I received and the bottom one is the stock one, Has anyone else have this issue? It looks like the one I got is a full mold. Any recommendation for solutions? Apart from sending it back, I'm in Canada and seller is in Hong Kong.

I have a New Bold 9700, Software version 5.0.0.405, Carrier AT&T. The "Return Key" Between the Red Telephone end key and the Track Pad, doesn't always work on the first push, sometimes it requires multiple pushes to get it to work.
Example, In the Home screen area, if you hit the home key it lists all your icons, if you hit the Return Key, it works most of the time, but many times it will require either another push or a push and hold to work. I went into the About, Applications, 3rd party apps listing I pushed the return key,, and it required multiple pushes to work-, ( It should return you to your starting point)
I have already done a Battery Pull while the device was on, I thought it got better but, no such luck, same thing again.
I also thought that maybe the button or pad is "Stiff" and just needs a break-in period? I don't know.
My blackberry Bold 9700 keyboard light doesn't work again,if i reboot it will be on,but once it has booted,it goes off again automatically,nd i can't use my phone at night or in a dark place.

It does have tactile feedback, and you can feel the button depress, but on the phone, nothing happens.I've tried everything (hard resets, soft resets, battery pulls, etc) but it still doesn't work.I was starting to get used to just hitting the Enter button on the keyboard until my girl turned of the 'Mobile Networks' in the radio menu somewhere. When you're trying to turn it back on using the enter key, all it does is go to the next selection. I am quite experienced with these phones and I have replaced the trackpad on these phones before, but right now my girl has it and she's off island.

View 3 Replies View RelatedNot sure where to post this, but my wife and I both have the 9700. Yesterday hers quit working. The phone works and sms works.Anyways my issue is this, I am using it for personal use, but cannot send/receive pin messages, my bbm doesn't send/receive invites, and it won't let me setup a personal email.When I click on setup/email the only option available is to add an enterprise email and asks for the enterprise password.Any ideas as to why this is happening or ways around this so I can use my bbm and setup my personal emails to automatically send to my phone like I had before? Mine still works perfect. Any ideas on what needs to be done to get her email set back up and bbm working again ?

It shows the charging signal as tho it is charger but the battery never moves I have never seen anything like this! Looks like I'm goin to have to buy a whole new battery.

(.....makes for some challenging fumbling in the morning, which has yet to land my bb in my נעגל וואסער) Previously touching any key triggered snooze Escalating mode doesn't seem to escalate! That was a good feature. Has anyone else noticed this? Are they bugs or am I missing something. Or perhaps something became corrupted when I transferred settings from my 9000.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI never get GPS lock anymore on any of my GPS apps,, google, BBmaps, and like 5 other location apps.I go to my Options, Advanced Options, GPS and the page cannot open..I also noticed another problem where my Picture viewer doesn't open up pictures anymore from the thumbnail preview list. i.e when I click on a thumbnail it doesnt open full screen. It just sits there.
