Oct 29, 2011have been trying to conncet Atrix using HDMI cable. I tried connceting it to the TV and also treid it with my dell laptop.But in both i didnt see the phone detecting the HDMI conncetion. What i understood from some of the discussions here is phone gives us two options fvrom which we can select HDMI project options so that we can play media in phone. But i dont understand why i am not geting those option when i connect HDMI cable.I started grtting a doubt that weather the Atrix peace that i have is faulty or HDMI cable may be faulty..Suggest me somethig so that i can able conncet my phone to HDMI .

Sep 15, 2011I am not the only one to have had this happen. ANother poster over at Droidfourms.net has had the same thing happen to them. The screen after disconnecting from the HDMI port will go dim like it is about to shut off but it won't. It will stay dim until you manually turn off the screen with the top power button. It is a glitch and battery killing one to say the least. Anyone else have the issue or remedy other than rebooting like I had to! I mean why do I have to tear apart an Otterbox case everyday? If the HDMI glitch doesn't bother me then it is the black screen of death requiring another battery pull!

BB Bold 9700 :: Charging From A USB To Micro USB Cable
Jul 23, 2010I switched from a 9000 to a 9700 so I bought mini to micro adapters to use on my car charger and my USB cable so that I wouldn't have to buy a bunch of new chargers.
When I plug my USB cable into my Belkin power block or cigarette adapter it won't charge, but if I plug in my wall charger or plug the cable into my USB port on my computer, it will charge my 9700. Both the power block and the cigarette adapter will charge my iPod, so I know it isn't the power block.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Aug 5, 2010I have a PC with windows vista and one for w7, they both have the same problem.Downloaded the divice driver than the device manager but when connet the two device it sais does not have divce softwear and keep on asking for CD - which of course never comes with it. So can not connet the two.

Jan 11, 2012My Razr constantly detects a HDMI cable connection, even though there is no HDMI cable near it (not even a USB cable is connected). A popup keeps showing up asking me to "Select Dock Type". This has been really annoying, as I need to dismiss it every time it shows up. I can't find a way to disable the detection of the HDMI cable.
This problem started after 2 weeks into owning the phone, back in mid December. I called Verizon technical support. They thought it was a hardware defect, and sent me a replacement phone. However, when I received the phone, I found that it was a refurbished phone with a big scratch on the side. I returned it and kept my original one.
Other than this problem, everything runs great, and I love my Razr. My question is: has anyone seen this problem? I have learned to deal with it by dismissing the popup every time I unlock the screen. Can a future software update include a setting where I can disable the HDMI detection?

Jan 13, 2010I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.

If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

If I take out the battery and put it in it switches on but the screen goes blank in a few seconds and the phone shuts down. Everything is fine except that when I have the device locked (via the new, inconveniently placed lock button) and plug in a power cable the phone unlocks. How do I disable this? Maybe I am the only one who is annoyed by this but what is the point of a button that locks the phone until you unlock it if other things can unlock it. It wouldn't be a problem if not for the touchscreen which I always seem to be pressing at the time I plug it in.

Aug 21, 2010My Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.
