I have been trying to block a number for a while now and downloaded a Blackberry app from my computer by doing this it restarted everything and has turned my Radio off. I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and with Koodo Mobile. Every time I restore connections or try and put radio on it automatically turns off my phone.
View 3 RepliesAfter upgrade to Belle refresh, my Nokia E7-00 keeps restarting when network coverage is very low, or gone. I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good.The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.

When I'm using it, surfing etc, everything works slighty, but when I put it on table, and phone go standby, than network disappear, and phone restart. If I don't touch phone it just keeps restarting after first standby. I notice that phone have no problems on charger too. I have updated to latest software and no success. So phone is ok on charger and when I use it, and standby made it loose network first, than blank screen and restart.

Finally becoming fed up with my iPhone crashing, restarting on its own and taking 10+ minutes to turn back on I decided I'm done with it so a few weeks ago on eBay I ordered a used HTC Magic for Rogers(my provider). It has a broken battery cover so theres tape all over the back but that doesn't matter.What does matter is that every time I try to connect it with the MacBook Pro it connects just fine for about 1 minute then it disconnects so I'm either JUST getting one song finished uploading on the Magic or it fails when its just about finished. I tried restarting the Mac and the Magic and nothing is working.This is a huge problem for me because to play music was the whole reason I bought this phone because my iPhone would keep restarting while I was driving around and left me with nothing to listen to for around 10 minutes and now on this HTC Magic I cant even get songs on the thing so I'm yet to try and play them in the car still.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recenty cleared my phonne with the alt+lglg and cleared some other history stuff, and i seen a thing for memory cleaner and i enabled it and i figured that might save me some time, it prompted me before i closed it that memory cleaner would run when the phone had been rebooted and something else. but now my phone has been rebooted and it wont turn on it just keeps restarting over and over and over again. i left it over nihgt hoping it would be working in the morning and it still rebooted all night.

They work nice. I use them a lot for walking, running, and bicycling.My question though, is the GPS actually using the GPS satellites in orbit, or is it using triangulation off several cell towers to get my location?If it is using GPS satellites, why is it that if I turn off all connections (Mobile Network Sprint & Wi-Fi), I lose all GPS connections as well? If this device is atually getting signals from the satellites, what difference does it make if I am in a cell coverage area or not?I've read that, yes, the location is retrieved from the satellites, but to plot it on the maps takes the cell connection. If that is the case, is there an app that just logs longitude and latitude every second and stores it in a file that can be dumped to a map at a later time?
The reason I bring all this up is because, later this summer, I plan to go on a 2-week long cruise that will visit about a dozen different Carribean islands and I'd like to track my location. At sea, I won't be able to pick up a cell signal. Will the GPS tracking apps like google, still work? Even if I can't get a cell signal, my GPS should still be able to pick up satellite signals
I get signal and can call people but it doesn't show my carrier(Fido) in active network or the under the phone icon

It have only had the phone for 1 day and it has restarted about 10 times so far.It always happens when I go in to Maps but it also restarts when it is just in the screensaver sitting on my desk.I have tried a hard reset but it is still the same.Should I send this phone back or should I just wait a while to see if a firmware/software update fixes it?If I have to send it back so soon I will be really cheesed off.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy friend broke its os and gave it to me because he didn't need it, i put insertcoin on it and rooted it. Every like 1-3 seconds it reboots after being shut off, it reboots then goes to the lock screen and i can use the phone for about a second then it restarts. Im thinking it may be an app/apk i installed but i don't know, it was like this before i restarted it. and its happened 4 times before, 3 of which i just reinstalled the os and wiped the phone and the last time it fixed its self. this time its been going on for 30min and it wont seem to fix itself.

It started when I went to restore my phone cause i saw for some odd reason i had over 2gb of memory being waisted by "other" what ever makes that up, anyways so after i restored it I told it to restore from back up ever since then it keeps restarting.
