It keeps giving me the message "Your entry is invalid, please try again."I keep trying it everyday but no use. It also disappeared from the status bar (where i post my happening status to social networks). Why can't I re-add my myspace account? it worked before resetting the phone. everything works fine and all other social networks like twitter, orkut and facebook work fine ,but not mypace. I tried logging in to myspace from a PC and my login worked fine. I even created a new motoblur account but no use.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUsually I arrive somewhere, pop in a prepaid sim and hit the ground running.,, On many different networks. US, NZ, AU, no problem. In Bangkok I blamed the dodgy Thai sim card and language barrier, but same problem in Cambodia on different network. Meanwhile, my friend's phone is getting 3g just fine in both countries. I think I need to change some code or something in the phone settingsThe Cambodian woman who sold me this sim tried typing "qb" where a network code would go, and of course it gave her an error over and over. I'm sure my sim is designed for 3g and that there's coverage.

Did that and it says: "The phone radio is unable to connect to the network. Make sure the radio is on, or move into a better cover area". Same story when I put my UK (the orginal) SIM card in. Tried to connect to wifi, that won;t work either.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy phone shows the wifi network but it is unable to connect to the internet...i tried reseting my network, restarting my phone, changing the time and date and every possible ways to fix it up but it does not work...my brother has the same set as mine and the same wifi network is working fine on his mobile.
Info:
iPhone 3G
I've literally tried everything that XDA, reddit, and other miscellaneous sites have told me to do and all of them have the same 3-4 ways to get this to work and none do.
Resetting wifi, airplane mode, rebooting, resetting network settings, restored a backup, reflashed a ROM, and went back to stock.. nothing. I also tried go into Netgear dashboard WiFi Settings and change the auto channel but that method doesn't seem to be an option for me, it's either "Auto" or number 1 through 10. Or 5G is auto and numbers in the 100s.
All other devices connect to my wifi no problem, and my Nexus 6P was just fine up until about 2hours ago.
I have Motorola Defy (running android 2.1), i want to prevent it from going online unless there is a Wi-Fi connection (don't use my 3G connection/serves provider internet)
View 2 Replies View Relatedunboxed & started the Android 2.1 Defy I got the internet working instantly on GPRS/EDGE using SIM from earlier phone BUT after I downloaded a 3rd party app from Android Market called RTI India the internet just vanished .. I mean .. I don't even see or get the up-down motion arrow mark next to the signal strength on my handset anymore. Phoof ... gone with the wind .. no sign of even showing up a bit despite managing the settings (Wireless & networks + Data Manager) n no. of times. The settings are all good to go for internet connectivity.I then got an advice from Moto India that I needed to uninstall & restart the device in order to get the internet working again but sadly this didn't work. Have requested Vodafone (service provider) to come up with a solution although my gut feeling told me to try out an all-weather antidote from Motorola i.e., "factory hard reset" .. so I called Motorola India again and got exactly this advice.
Has anybody faced this problem .. if so, then has this reset worked to regain internet connectivity OR is there something else altogether ? My phone is still on Android 2.1 since FroYo upgrade is still being tested. Lemme also know if I need to remove the SIM card before doing the factory hard reset? Just wanna be sure before I go ahead with the reset

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy WiFi connection keeps re-asking for my password even though what I have entered is 100% correct. It keeps coming back and saying its not correct.I have a WPA 63 character key that I enter and do it 4 digits at a time except the last which is 3 digits, all entered 100% correctly and in the right case, yet my Defy keeps saying incorrect. Do you know what is up with that? It works fine on my laptop with the exact same WPA key entered.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI never have found a clear indication of the safety of using MotoBlur from a open public Wifi Hotspot.
That's an issue I stumble upon everytime I want to use a standalone application like Hotmail on my handset. I presume that the communication from my handset to Motorola servers are encrypted, but I have no documentation about it.
I wonder if my mail account is directed in a similar manner, from my handset to Motorola server when I send a SMTP message from an account registered within Blur.
How does it work. I would like to know. Is there any white paper from Motorola somewhere available to the consumer.
Ok so after having to replace the earpiece under warranty I thought would risk another outage to my Defy. It was bought sim-free and I use my work SIM in it from Vodafone. So ran through the upgrade, and it worked first time ... until wifi. Wifi does not connect or rather from what I can determine I cannot actually obtain an IP address. For it to actually connect to the hub I have to force the settings to toggle the "Enable Auto IP" setting and manually set the channel to the same as my hub. (not had to do that with any other phone ... ) by the way, this still does not give me a data connectionAlso tried setting a static IP address and related settings and that does not work either Did a factory reset as recommended on the other pages - no avail. My hub runs WPA/WPA2 and I have a variety of devices connecting to it, trouble free, including 2 other Android 2.2 phones (HTC Desire Z and LG Optimus One), Windows XP, Windows 7, PS3 etc etc ... oh and once I had a Defy running 2.1 Eclair connecting trouble free?
