my phone shows the wifi network but it is unable to connect to the internet...i tried reseting my network, restarting my phone,changing the time and date and every possible ways to fix it up but it does not work...my brother has the same set as mine and the same wifi network is working fine on his mobile.

I have updated my Nokia 5800 and ever since when I try to go on the internet via Orange it won't let me. I can't even use or set up Wi-fi. I just updated my N8 from symbian anna to belle. Everything went ok. Now I'm trying to connect to my home wifi network which has WEB security. I can connect without a problem. I mean the phone says it's connected to the network. But when I try to access a website there is only the error page. And after a minute or so the wifi connection drops out by itself. I saved the network, and there's no other destination in the settings/destinations menu. the phone is not connecting to it by itself. Is there a way to go back to Anna?

I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. Having trouble with connecting to my or my works wifi. It registers both routers and displays the name across at the top of the phone and in wifi settings I have a black square with a white dash line and a green wifi symbol.
I have a Asda pay as you go sim which is fine for the calls text etc but I hearing not so good for the Internet.
I have managed to get the browser going with the Hotspot setting but I'm guessing this isn't using my home wifi as it as slow as a snail and keeps cutting out.
Without Hotspot enabled it tries to use VodaphoneLive and I get the message "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider"

I have been using my iphone 5 since the last 9 months. The wifi just worked fine at home when connecting with the wifi router. It also worked fine everywhere I went where there was a wifi zone. Since the last 7 days or so I am facing a sudden problem. When connecting to my home Wifi, it shows full signal strength, yet the internet connection drops. At times, even whatsapp does not work, cannot send images most of the times. Apple store, iTunes and emails stops working mostly. I have reset my wireless router recenty and still this problem persists. There does not seem to be any problem with the router because other devices like my laptop and other mobile phones are working fine with wifi.

Okay so there's this WiFi network at school. It is unsecured, and my teacher always connects to it. On my iPhone 3G it never shows up, though after I scan for networks using Stumbler (Stumbler says it's not hidden btw) it appears in the settings. So I click on it and it says "Cannot connect" (or something along those lines) and after the third try it disappears again. I tried using SpoofMAC to spoof my mac address to 11:11:11:11:11 and that didn't work.

I am thinking it is a password issue but the phone never asks me for my password. The wi-fi is locked so it needs a password. I do not have this problem with my laptop or my Ipad so I know the wi-fi network is working correctly. I just can't figure out how to get the phone to ask me for my password. It should do it without any prompting, but for whatever reason it does not.

Is there a way to connect my iPhone 4s to my wifi network without the password? This is my home network but unfortunately it was setup years ago and I have no way of getting the password for it. I've been able to connect my laptop to it without the password by pushing the button on the netgear router but it does not work when I try with my phone. My laptop and desktop are both connected and have iTunes so I was hoping I could do it that way but I've had no luck. I've also had no luck resetting the router and I'd rather not buy a new one.

I want to take this phone to Europe to work WiFi and possibly a European Sim Card. I worked with Verizon and the phone is unlocked. I took it to Verizon, and they, as I had done, connected to a WiFi network (ID above clock in white), data and roaming turned off, and received a "success" on setting up. I noticed the "WiFi" symbol is a dull white, as opposed to the network name which is bright white. I go to the browser and it allows me to put in a URL, but when I try to go there, "Internet is not available, check with provider". The browser is set to Hotspot. I have removed the battery to no avail, and have done a security wipe, but the results are the same.Is there a setting I am missing, or something else basic I have overlooked?
