View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless network at my work (that is functional and works for my laptop) that I cannot figure out how to connect to with my Blackberry Curve 9300 OS 6.I can find the network, and when it prompts for the password and I enter it, everything appears as though it should work. The WiFi box is checked in "Manage connections" and on my home screen, at the top, above the time, it shows my provider's name and the WiFi network I'm connected to (Koodo - Arnason Lab <--- network name). When I try to use my browser though, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider." I called Koodo and they told me that this sounds like a device problem and that contacting BlackBerry would be my best bet. Is my browser set up to work via WiFi? Or is there something I'm missing about connecting to a WiFi connection?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the Curve 8520.I am a unique case of this, because with T-Mobile there is a way you can have a Blackberry without the data plan, so when I am trying to connect to the internet, it is ONLY through wi-fi.
On the home screen, the Wi-Fi Logo is lit up white, and it says the name of my network. However, when I try to access any webpage, the message comes up:"Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact your service provider."It HAS worked before.
I got new curve 9300 3G with unlimited data plan, meaning I can connect to the Internet, push mails, RSS feeds, etc. It was working fine for several days but lately I could not connect to the Internet, could not get emails; virtually any data connection! I decided to replace SIM card since if Iīm using my friendīs card it was working. Initially with the new card (with data plan) I was able to connect to the Internet but after a while (couples of minutes) I could not connect and all data connections were just off (AppWorld was also off). Strangely, the 3G signal is good on the screen! I have tried to re-register the HRT and pulled out the battery also refreshing the network but still didnīt work.
I installed some apps prior to this problems, but I do not think it was the cause, except that I upgraded Facebook app then the Facebook icon disappeared.
I use a Blackberry 8310 curve. suddenly, i have been unable to connect to the internet. My network provided told me i have been activated. I keep getting messages like "your blackberry services have been deactivated or suspended contact your service provider".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an 8900 Curve, and have been using Wifi to connect to the internet, in my home and everywhere else I go. I'm in Mexico using Telcel. You don't need a plan just to connect to the internet, that's what WiFi is for. It just stopped connecting the other day for some reason. The wifi icon does not appear at the top. I have the browser set to HotSpot, it's the only option actually, I set the TCP/IP APN to the Mexican settings (you can do that here: http://www.blackberrytune.com/blackberry-tcp-ip-apn-settings/), but still nothing!WTF is wrong with this POS!

I have a Nextel 8350i on boost. This morning, I reinstalled the combined3 service books, and now no internet, or app that accesses internet will work. I get the unable to connect message when I try to connect using my data plan and when I try to connect on wifi as well. I am able to place and receive calls, i can use direct connect, and i can send and receive texts as well, its just the internet is not working with data or wifi. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been facing this problem this the last couple of months.. whenever I travel and get into the roaming network, my phone doesnt connect to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) because of which i cannot use BBM or any other internet based application. As soon as i am in local network, it gets connected to BIS. I have tried everything..data service while roaming is on.. have switched off phone, removed sim and restarted. Last evening I visited Vodafone store, the guy put my sim in another blackberry device and it got connected to BIS. However its doesnt get connected on my device. He suggested me to do a data wipe which I did, still am unable to connect to BIS.

I have a Asda pay as you go sim which is fine for the calls text etc but I hearing not so good for the Internet.
I have managed to get the browser going with the Hotspot setting but I'm guessing this isn't using my home wifi as it as slow as a snail and keeps cutting out.
Without Hotspot enabled it tries to use VodaphoneLive and I get the message "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider"
I've got a blackberry curve 8520 and the other day, it completely wiped itself. I've managed to connect it back to my wifi but whenever i click on my browser and try to load a page it says 'Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.' even though it says i am connected to the wireless.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was using my blackberry to connect to the internet. It worked. I could browse, I could tweet and reply to them and use the BBM service. When I woke up this morning to check updates, I could not connect to the internet service anymore. There's always a prompt: Failed to connect to service (I forgot what was in between). So I called the service provider and told me to refresh my blackberry by turning it off and on. I did that several times already and it's not working. I already tried another method which was remove the sim and battery for at least 30 seconds and then put it back on.

I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry torch 9800, I don't have a data plan. I use a wifi signal with other phones, but my blackberry doesn't allow me to browse or view apps online. The error "unable to connect to the internet please try again later" appears. The phone has a clear signal of the wifi, i've tried various other hotspots, my other phones work perfectly. The blackberry says it's connected to the wifi, but no internet browsing is possible. What else can I do other than rip the battery out to re-boot?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the iPhone 3GS. I've been unable to connect to the internet via 3G. It works perfectly fine via WiFi and I've tried the SIM in a different handset and it works fine, so that's not the problem. Strangely, it does however work in certain instances, for example I can receive WhatsApp messages and some push notifications, but it will not load internet pages, Facebook, Twitter etc. I've also noticed that the battery is running down quicker than usual. I've tried resetting the network settings, along with resetting the phone on several occasions, neither of which seems to have worked.

my service provider said I either reload OS or replace the device.I wish I don't have to do this. Could this be the device defect?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been having some connection problems lately for no apparent reason. One day, my connection settings went hiwire and changed, though no one had fun messing with them. I re-applied the connection settings, but my phone keeps randomly disconnecting from the Internet. I usually turn it off and restart it in order to get connected once again. But in a couple of hours, the problem resurfaces.
