I have a BB Torch 9860 which connects to my home Wifi fine but does not connect to the internet for some reason. I cannot access the net and get my emails or use a 3rd party browser like opera nor can i do anything. This is a major concern for me as it doesn't matter when i am home but it's amjor concern when i travel abroad.

Really loving this phone (8520) and a massive leap from my last phone.
Having trouble with connecting to my or my works wifi. It registers both routers and displays the name across at the top of the phone and in wifi settings I have a black square with a white dash line and a green wifi symbol.
I have a Asda pay as you go sim which is fine for the calls text etc but I hearing not so good for the Internet.
I have managed to get the browser going with the Hotspot setting but I'm guessing this isn't using my home wifi as it as slow as a snail and keeps cutting out.
Without Hotspot enabled it tries to use VodaphoneLive and I get the message "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider"
I am connected to Wi-Fi but unable to connect to the internet like FB,Yahoo or other websites. My sister used to connect to wifi but now that I am using her handset, I cannot do so.

Last weekend she asked me if i could update her software, and i did so from the Blackberry Desktop Software and updated to OS6. Everything was working fine until we found out that it only connects to the internet if i use data service, but i dont want to because we have wi-fi at home. When i turn data services and while roaming OFF, and put wi-fi preferred, and when i try to open a web page in the browser it pop ups a window saying "Data Services are disabled. Go to Mobile Network to enable".

It shows the complete signal strength of my WiFi signal but unable to browse. It hits an error message 'Unable to fconnect to the server'.

I can connect and can browse internet but after a week can still connect to wifi but the problem is a can't connect to the internet I can't open even google and it says "Browser unable to connect to website". The error "unable to connect to the internet please try again later" appears. The phone has a clear signal of the wifi, i've tried various other hotspots, my other phones work perfectly. I can connect without a problem. I mean the phone says it's connected to the network. But when I try to access a website there is only the error page. And after a minute or so the wifi connection drops out by itself. I saved the network, and there's no other destination in the settings/destinations menu. the phone is not connecting to it by itself. I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

I have been having troubles with my Torch's browser ever since I got the phone several months ago. When I try to loads pages it will maybe load 1 or 2 pages, then just time out and bring up the message - "unable to connect to internet please try again later,if the problem persists please contact your service provider."I have full coverage at the time when I am trying to load the pages. It happens on most pages I try loading, sometimes they load, sometimes they dont. I used to have to empty the cache memory, and then turn the phone on and off again to get it working again, but now even that doesnt work. Usually, once i dont have a load balance, the service will automatically deactivated but once i recharge, the 1.50 aed will automatically deducted and my subscription will be activated. But last wednesday night, it was deactivated since i dont have load balance. That same day, i recharge and was expecting that it will be activated again...But i didnt received any notification that it was activated Until now its not activated. They just keep on telling me to wait and just gave me an exact time and it will be activated again..but nothing happens.

In the Networks and Connections menu the Wifi networks is not there . . .only have Mobile Networks and Bluetooth . . .does this mean that my BB is not Wifi enabled? or do I have to go elsewhere in order for it to search and find my home wireless?
