Eseries / Communicators :: Network Disappear And E61i Keeps Restarting
Nov 26, 2011
I have problem with my E61i. When I'm using it, surfing etc, everything works slighty, but when I put it on table, and phone go standby, than network disappear, and phone restart. If I don't touch phone it just keeps restarting after first standby. I notice that phone have no problems on charger too. I have updated to latest software and no success. So phone is ok on charger and when I use it, and standby made it loose network first, than blank screen and restart.
After upgrade to Belle refresh, my Nokia E7-00 keeps restarting when network coverage is very low, or gone. I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good. The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.
I have a new, unused E5-00 which does not display any other e-mails than today's unread messages. Once you read them and send-receive to sync the inbox they also disappear from the phone. I could not find the option of "Retrieval amount" like the S60 3rd edition had.
I bought a new E7 day three day ago, this has been the third time that my handset hangs after a call to a landlines and then the entire contact list disappear. Is this any setting issue?I tried sync my calendar to the email but that is not happening.. The batt depletes with in a day.
I purchased my Nokia E6 about a month to six weeks ago. Love it and have performed one software update via Nokia PC Suite. Just recently, however, my handset has been restarting itself. It's happened 3 times in as many days, the most recent being about half an hour ago mid-call. Obviously it's rather inconvenient and I'm keen to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Is it a known bug? I did peruse the known bug thread in this forum before posting, and did not see anything mentioned.
I have a Nokia E6, i installed the Kaspersky mobile anti virus and was using the trial version. After the trial period got over i purchased a new license and uninstalled the trial version. I installed fresh copy of Kaspersky and now my phone keeps restarting within 15 seconds of swichting on. this goes on for about 3-4 times and then the phone just not start.
I have just bought this Nokia E7 from Singapore. Since my purchase I have noticed my phone keeps on restarting all the time. When I am browsing through my contacts or going through my sms, all of sudden the screen goes white and the NOKIA logo comes and it restarts. Did a installation of firmware and hardreset too.I took it to Nokia Singapore and they kept the phone for a few hours and said the problem is solved. The problem still continues and Nokia Singapore cannot help me further. Also I cannot install Nokia OVI Application on my E7, it dowloads the file then says installation failed.
i bought E-52 few days before. its good but the only problem is that this set deleted all my sms when i shutdown my mobile. after restarting my all inbox, sent items and saved folder`s sms automatically deleted.
I am using nokia e52 for 1 month and i noticed that when i play music in music player, after playing 2 or 3 songs it restarts automatically. I am very worried about it. I thought that if I reinstall the device software then it will be solved. But alas! I can't reinstall device software with NSU or Ovi suit (latest version).I am using the latest firmwae 071.004 (rm-469) I updated this firmware 10 days ago. Before this update the problem was happening and still happening after the latest firmware installed.
I know there was another topic like this, but it was "solved" and mine is different. I do not have mobile docs installed or that Kaspersky Mobile Security, which was the case for others. But about every 30mins (sometimes every 10, other times every hour) my E7 freezes up and restarts. I have not found a commonality as to why it restarts. When I first got the phone, I thought it was because I was "playing" with it too much and had too many apps running at once, but now that is not the case.
Whenever we go to the dialling screen, pressing ANY number on the onscreen number pad results in the phone restarting. In disbelief, I've let the phone restart, made sure no programs were open, and that the phone had finished starting up before going to 'call' and pressing numbers. ANY number, from 1 to 0, gives that restart.I've tried a restoring to factory settings. No joy. I'm reluctant to do a complete hard reset as I have a fair amount of data on the phone.
I'm using E72, i've problem of NO NETWORK COVERAGE as when i'm talking in phone with somebody, suddenly i can't hear the voice but still it shows as in connection there and later it shows as no network coverage and cut the connection. now it happns normally and i don't know whether its the coverage problem or phone problem

My daughter is in italy and purchased a WIND sim for her Nokia E5. It initially worked in the store but when she got home she no longer could connect to the phone network, no voice calls and no sms capability. The home screen of the phone showed WIND in the upper left corner while at the store but now only says 3G. She has tried restarting the phone to no avail
after some time (usualy like 1 to 2 hours) in powersaving mode and standby mode together . When I wake up the phone the phone suddenly doesnt have any connection. i have to put the phone in offline mode and back to normal/silent for it to connect back to the network. it seems only to happen while in standby mode with powersaving mode enabled.
my mom's Wifi is called Linksys and I had added to the list of Wifi's to automatically connect to.
Well, it just happens that "Linksys" is also the name of other hundreds of Wifi's all over the place, and my E6 keeps on trying to connect to them. I have tried many times to disconnect from this network but the phone attempts reconnecting right away.
How can I completely remove Linksys off the list of connectable networks? The main problem is that sometimes I am at a place with this Linksys network and the phone thinks it is supposed to be connecting to it but in reality it cant (maybe secured?) and I end up with no connection because the phone thinks it is connecting to Linksys.
I'm facing a serious signal reception problem for my new E7-00 mobile phone.few ways how can I improve the same. Let me know where exactly the Network Signal ports located for the mobile.
I am using Nokia E7. I found this deature where in you can map a remore WEBDAV address drive to your Nokia File manager. I have accounts with skydrive, box, drivehq ets. I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me? Is there a step by step document/guide which shows us how this can be done? The user manual provided with E7 does not have all these details!!
The manual and the website both say "The device settings, such as Network mode and the screen saver, are optimized. When you activate power saving. What does this mean in plain English? Optimized how?
I have found on my nokia e5.I have updated the firmware to the latest version through pc suite. After a few days of working fine, the phone starts heating up all of a sudden, the battery drains and there is no communication over the network at all (i.e no sms, no calls received, can send texts or take calls either.)i tried *#7370# still the problem persists.
I've tried doing a hard reset but I can't seem to get rid of the T-Mobile branding rubbish from my E72. Things like the T-Mobile welcome animation when you switch it on and their horrible pink theme. (I can change the theme but I want to be rid of it...) I would also like the web browser to take notice of the home page I've set - at the moment it goes to T-Mobile's web offering no matter what I set it to.
I am using Nokia E5 from 2 months , till yesterday I was using Internet radio, but suddenly it stop. If I click on internet radio, Its says " no Network connection". When I go to option--> setting and after clicking on setting no response is there , meaning nothing is happening. Other internet related apps working fine.
