I have found on my nokia e5.I have updated the firmware to the latest version through pc suite. After a few days of working fine, the phone starts heating up all of a sudden, the battery drains and there is no communication over the network at all (i.e no sms, no calls received, can send texts or take calls either.)i tried *#7370# still the problem persists.
View 6 RepliesI'm experiencing problems with my phone battery life. When I charge the phone it tells me that the battery is full but after 10-15 min it tells me it's empty again. This is strange as I bought two other new batteries and it's the same issue. I'm suspecting that it has nothing to do with the battery. My software version is 081.003. model E72-1

I changed battery, updated firmware but nothing..I know all the strategies of going off 3g, lower screen brightness and so on but it does not work, It is not handy to go around with two batteries!

I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good.The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.

When I'm using it, surfing etc, everything works slighty, but when I put it on table, and phone go standby, than network disappear, and phone restart. If I don't touch phone it just keeps restarting after first standby. I notice that phone have no problems on charger too. I have updated to latest software and no success. So phone is ok on charger and when I use it, and standby made it loose network first, than blank screen and restart.

When I wake up the phone the phone suddenly doesnt have any connection. i have to put the phone in offline mode and back to normal/silent for it to connect back to the network. it seems only to happen while in standby mode with powersaving mode enabled.

Well, it just happens that "Linksys" is also the name of other hundreds of Wifi's all over the place, and my E6 keeps on trying to connect to them. I have tried many times to disconnect from this network but the phone attempts reconnecting right away.
How can I completely remove Linksys off the list of connectable networks? The main problem is that sometimes I am at a place with this Linksys network and the phone thinks it is supposed to be connecting to it but in reality it cant (maybe secured?) and I end up with no connection because the phone thinks it is connecting to Linksys.
I'm facing a serious signal reception problem for my new E7-00 mobile phone.few ways how can I improve the same. Let me know where exactly the Network Signal ports located for the mobile.

I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me? Is there a step by step document/guide which shows us how this can be done? The user manual provided with E7 does not have all these details!!

Things like the T-Mobile welcome animation when you switch it on and their horrible pink theme. (I can change the theme but I want to be rid of it...) I would also like the web browser to take notice of the home page I've set - at the moment it goes to T-Mobile's web offering no matter what I set it to.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using (not that heavy) the E6 for some days now and have noticed that the battery life is no where near as strong as specified as the specifications.
My old E71 performed better. The E6 uses more power yet the standby times are supposedly much improved compared to the E71 (which is ridiculous!) because both phones have the same battery strength.
Do you reckon Nokia have been too optimistic with their battery life specifications. I just feel a bit cheated because the battery life was one of the things I specifically investigated before purchasing the phone.
I'm really excited about the new E6 and has decided to buy it over the iPhone 3G S now available in India. But now my matter of concern is that I hear rumors that the talktime of the Nokia E6 is very less, much lesser than as claimed by Nokia!! Is this right?? Can anybody please clarify? View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from an E71 to the E5, primarly to get a better battery life. I use Exchange ActiveSync, with 15 minute checks. My service is AT&T 3.5G, and I keep the radio in dual mode. In a normal day on the E71, I could get 12 hours of use out of the phone before running the battery down.
Out of the box, same settings, my E5 is getting about 4-6 hours. Longer if I don't make any phone calls. But if I talk on the phone for 20-30 minutes, it will last around 4 hours total.
I am in the Dallas, TX market, and got the phone from Amazon. Has anyone else had similar experience? Any recommendation? This is really bad, and I am about ready to just return the phone to Amazon, and go back to my E71
since i bought my E63 i have changed the battery up to 3 times, each of them keep increasing in size and eventually deteriorates in battery life..even the present one has stated the same thing.what do i do to stop dis?

My Nokia E72 frequentlly goes into low battery state and then again in the normal level. It's a strange behaviour.
