Jun 2, 2014I bought this iphone 5 six months ago and have a pay as you go plan with Kolbi I.C.E (a local provider.) Everything worked fine, until last week I was talking on my phone all morning, and then I shut it off to charge it and when I turned it back on I couldn't connect to the cellular network. Â
Since then, I have tried LITERALLY everything I can find on the internet to make it work again: toggling airplane mode, restart, refresh network settings, restore to factory, taking out the sim card and putting it back in again, EVERYTHING. And not for one single second have I been able to access the cellular network again. Â
I tried putting my simcard in my friend's identical iphone 5 and it worked just fine, leading me to believe the problem is with my iphone in particular-- but why would it just STOP connecting all of a sudden, for no reason???Â

Xperia Play Won`t Register With Cell Network
Sep 17, 2011I updated to the newest update (the offical ways) my phone is completly untouched.But now i can`t get acces to my cellular network. It finds the network, but when i try to get my phone to register with it, it simply says the sim card does not allow it.I tryd rolling back to the old firmware/os and the phone is back to normal, and i got accses to the cell network.So i tryd updateing again ( over the air... flashed the file manuelly) still the same.

The problem i am encountering is when i change my network mode to 3G my cell is not able to connect to the network while it did a few days back. it only works on the EDGE network, i have tried using my sim card in other phones where it connects to 3G easily but in my phone it doesnt even searches for availabe 3G networks.i have also tried re-installing my operating system of the cell but the problem still persists, cant able to get what to do. Also have tried contacting the service provider but they seem to be helpless because the sim has its 3G network in other phones.

Wait for an update or is there a setting?I guess AGPS always tries via mobil data - but in my country free GPS is perfectly enough.

Jan 5, 2010My cell phone will sometimes shut down or freeze and the only way to get it to turn back on is to remove the battery and put it back in. After that I can power my phone back on again and all is good until the next time it freezes.I noticed this sometime happens when I am using the wall charger. I will plug the phone in before bed (it’s turned on), and the next morning when I take it off the charger, the phone will not power on. I have to remove the battery as indicated above.
I have had the phone for two weeks and am wondering if I have a defective battery and if getting a new one will solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
