I can't seem to open Howard Forums on my Bold 9700? I was able to use it couple of days ago, but all of a sudden it has stopped. It doesn't matter if I'm using wifi or data. Also is there a mobile version of this site?
View 1 RepliesI love the native browser except for how it displays crackberry.com forums. The text is microscopic no matter which text size I set it at. I do know that I have to pull the battery for a text change to update (.405 software), but even that doesn't seem to change the forum's font size while other sites like ESPN and Facebook are affected.
The Opera cursor is way too laggy for me but that broswer displays the forums great and the BerryBlab app is way too slow for loading the forums and threads.I this an issue with my OS? How do you guys view the forums in native browser?
As I find myself becoming more and more addicted to crack(berry), I was wondering how most of you access these forums from your phone.When I first started checking out the forums, I always used my lapotop. But now I find that I rarely even turn my computer on.Is there an easier and/or better way to access the forums besides using the WAP address in the briowser? Any third party apps that will help in my addiction?

A message (from the BB) pops up and says I must enter a title/subject. Umm...if i'm replying to a post then there ALREADY is a title/subject. I tried typing a NEW title. I tried refreshing. I tried rebooting. NOTHING works. Is it the website or BB?

View 2 Replies View Relatedso as the title says, i was able to go on car forums and such from my blackberrry storm ver. 1 with the v5.0 software.it was working like a charm and better than before and one day it just decided not to work anymore. does anyone else have the same issues / any solutions to fix this? i can go into the forum, but not the thread itself. it just comes up as blank.

I know nothing about phones or the internet. I'm trying to post photos to a forum on an internet social site through photobucket. I have photos uploaded but when I copy the link and try to paste it, it only pastes one word or symbol from the link. I can't figure out how to get the entire link to copy and paste.

According to this whacked out date it is out of warranty in November 2012. Some 8 months before the actual date.

View 14 Replies View Relatedmy friend is experiencing severe errors on her bb 9700.
1. She cannot open any Pictures in her Media Folder. She can see the thumb nails but when she tries to open it to view nothing happens. Also when she clicks on the Menu button nothing happens either.
2. She can also play music on her phone but when she clicks the menu button nothing happens as well. therefore she is unable to send or receive music.
3. Also when she tries to change her BBM Picture she is unable to
4. When She puts on her bb the following error notification is seen: Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Her OS was downgraded to the OS that came with the phone 5.0.0.330 by her Carrier due to some bluetooth issues she was experiencing: that is she was unable to pair. Since the downgrade the issue never arose. We tried to Update her OS yesterday to the latest official release 5.0.0.743 to see if this would help but after we launched apploader it said that they were unable to automatically back up her information and the update was aborted. If there is another way to manually backup the phone can you please let us know?
also if anyone knows any solution to these problems, please respond. Any input would be truly appreciated.
From a newbie. I can open xls and doc if I download to the cellphone but not if they are emailed to me. pdf will not open either way. Message says I do not have the app to open it. Help plse!:
View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen I click on the browser icon, the browser won't open and take me to the internet. All my other apps work, Facebook, Twitter, TSN, etc.
When I pull the battery, re-install, and re-boot the icon will work and I will be able to access the internet exactly one time! The second time following a battery removal re-boot when I try to access the internet via pushing the icon, it doesn't work.

If I try to open a link off a webpage or facebook/twitter, it comes up with "insuffeicent data coverage" or whatever, even though I have full 3G and full Wifi! Also if I try to open a bookmark, or even google, it just sits requesting and then fails to load! I've done many a reboot, deleted wifi router and re added with no luck! Also its affecting the Facebook/Twitter app and won't load new posts.

I even tried the reboot solution for like 10 times it didn't work. I removed the battery for 1 hour the problem still persist. It shows on my home screen when I have pings but I can't read. Other applications are working well.
