I can't login to these forums on my phone. I keep getting message that my email or password is not correct. But I am using correct password that I use here to login on the desktop.
View 2 RepliesAs I find myself becoming more and more addicted to crack(berry), I was wondering how most of you access these forums from your phone.When I first started checking out the forums, I always used my lapotop. But now I find that I rarely even turn my computer on.Is there an easier and/or better way to access the forums besides using the WAP address in the briowser? Any third party apps that will help in my addiction?

According to this whacked out date it is out of warranty in November 2012. Some 8 months before the actual date.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSomething weird happened yesterday, which is why I'm on here today. My phone restarted itself twice, all on its own. I was using the Google Play Music app both times, although I wasn't actually listening to anything at the tme. I've never used the app, it came with my phone and yesterday was the first time I actually tried using it.After the second time it restarted itself, I found these issues: my Home button didn't work. When you hold the power button and get the options of silence, airplane mode, sleep, off now I only have two options: sleep and off. When you touch the power button to lock the screen then touch it again, I used to have on my screen a swipe to unlock and a swipe to toggle between sound and no sound. Now I have neither. Oh, and my ringtone and notification were set to silent and the haptic feed back and key tones were on (I had them set to off). Also, I had set up my keyboard with the Swype, and it was reverted to the multi-touch keyboard.
I guess most of these things are no big deal, I reset my ringtones and notification tones and my keyboard. And I can silence my phone though the settings or by toggling the volume button all the way down. And when I touch the power button, I guess it is locked because the screen goes dark. But the most annoying thing is the home button not working because now I have to hit the back button (sometimes quite a bit, depending how far into the menus I'm in) to get back to the home screen.My husband has the exact same phone as I do and he also used the app for the first time yesterday, however he is not having any issues with his phone. But he never seems to have any problems with his, and I always seem to have some little buggy things with mine although this is the most worrying problem I've had. Troubling enough to make me create an account here to ask
I sometimes use whatsapp to chat to friends, but typing long sessions get tiresome quickly, so i want to control the phone from my laptop if possible.i installed droid vnc but as soon as i try to connect, the service stops. I wrote the author to see if i can get a fix.So i thought of another solution. Maybe i can put a bluetooth dongle in the laptop and somehow install a virtual keyboard in the computer so the phone can see it as a bt keyboard. I have seen a software for this but on linux only and i haven't been able to find a windows solution.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Atrix2 sometime back but just recently was looking to connect it to my PC to download some stuff onto the phone.When I connect my phone to the PC (windows 7 64 bit), the PC is not able to install the required drivers for my motorola phone. It fails with an error that says failed to install something called "ADB" drivers. Does it have to have a specific name or something? I was able to put music, photo's and apps on it and can browse the folders just fine so why cant the portal see it?

I have crap (edit) service out here in el cerrito. At&t was nice enough to give me a microcell. However for whatever reason, my phone doesn't connect (sometimes). No biggie, I just tap my airplane mode widget to reset my connection. It just happenedThis time when I was reconnecting, t-mobile popped up in my left hand service provider area. It was there for about 10 seconds. Then went to the red x. After that I was connected to my microcell. What was that all about.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased my Atrix phone yesterday. I am a complete newbie. At the store, the sales person moved my phone contacts from my old phone to the Atrix. When I got home I added my Facebook account and the app sync'ed my facebook friends to my contacts. Now I don't see any of the original contacts that were transfered when I purchased the phone.Is this a bug with the Facebook app, have the numbers been deleted or is there a setting that will display them?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhenever I am in a call, the dialer stays on like I have set it to. However, it intermittently refuses to accept the tones. For example, with AT&T VM, it says press 7 to delete the message. I press 7, the phone makes the tone associated with 7, but doesn't do the action associated with 7. It will do it with other phone trees too, like "press 1 for English", etc. The numbers that don't work vary as well, and sometimes it works fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenenever I plug my phone in to my laptop to charge, the folders I created on the phone are immediately emptied. To be clear, the programs stille exist on the phone. It's just that the folders get emptied of nearly all of their contents.
It happens as soon as I plug the phone into the computer with the ethernet cord--it doesn't matter if I transfer any data.
Also, this problem does not happen when I charge the phone via an electrical outlet. It only happens when connecting my phone via the laptop. Recreating the contents of these folders is getting frustrating.
I can only periodically make calls normally by placing call and then putting phone up to my head and listening to phone ring, and person answer.For whatever reason then the phone will behave erattically. It will only let me make a call using speakerphone.I cannot put phone up to my head and listen through earpiece, and the phone doesn't black out when putting up to my head.I guess the proximity sensor doesn't work or is buggy.Also, sometimes when I double tap on the Home button/key to start voice dialing I should be able to hear the phone ask me what I want to do, but I can't hear anything but I can see on the screen that It is asking me a question - but can't hear anything as I normally should.Then, a few hours later it all works beautifully.I have rebooted the phone, taken out the battery and put it back in, hard reset the phone.I even have just now taken my screen protector off and the phone worked for a few calls as it normally should - i put phone up to my ear and screen blacked out and I could hear other person on earpiece.Then about an hour later none of that worked.I could only use the speaker phone.the phone didn't black out when making a call and putting phone up to my ear, and the double tap home button/key invoked the voice dial interface but i couldn't hear the voice/phone prompt like normal. and confirmation of my commands
The level 2 tech support at moto didn't help with any more troubleshooting than what I have already done.Which is: restart phone...reset phone to factory settings (hard reset) wipe all data off phone...taken off screen protector...none of this worked and produced consistent results to say that any of these procedures produced a positive change in the phone.I am within my 30 day trial period of this phone purchased from Motorola.
Anyone have any problems with there Atrix just randomly shutting down and restarting? It's happend 2 times so far once while I was in the middle of a call and another while useing the browser.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone froze on me at the gim yesterday.I was listening to music over blue tooth, receiveing and sending mails, and using Jefit Pro.I was registering a set, when a mail came in and my phone froze!But it was still vibrating from the mail so it was still shaking in my hand.None of the buttons worked, nor a long press on the power button. I ended up doing a battery reset.

Recently I tried using Astro to try and find a file I had on my phone only to find my phone got stuck in some never ending loop on a folder called thumb2 in the osh directory. After it got to about 2 gigs in size I figured it wasn't going to stop and cancelled the search. I looked in the folder my self only to find it kept looping back onto its self. What is this folder? Did I get some sort of virus or malware on my phone? Would it ruin anything if I deleted the folder seeing how its just keeps looping on it self?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI own a business and having my contacts phone numbers is an abosolute necessity for me.I've noticed that after importing all my contacts from my SD card (after having setup the phone and creating a MotoBlur account, adding facebook, and a couple of email accounts) that the contacts whom had a Facebook profile, it REMOVED the phone numbers that were previously attached to the contact file.Is there a way to keep the phone from doing this? It did this to each contact that had a facebook profile that didn't have their phone number on their facebook profile.I've tried to go in and edit the contact but it tells me that you can't edit a facebook profile / contact.

I'm not even sure where or how to search for the answer.I am a former Blackberry user and, as with my Atrix, my phone can be turned on but is non-accessible without a passcode, finger swipe, etc. However, with my Blackberry, as soon as the phone was turned on, I had my name and work telephone number typed on the wallpaper, asking to be contacted if my telephone was found. I haven't found a way to put the same info on my Atrix. Perhaps creating my own wallpaper?

We don't have connection in subway, so pretty much every time I am out of the tunnel and find connection I get a reboot. It doesn't happen every time though, on some occasions it doesn't reboot.I thinl after last update it started happening more often, but I am not really sure about that since I noticed some occasional reboots before, but didn't put the getting out of tunnel and reboot together and after it happened several times I noticed.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my atrix plugged into my car dock while driving and listening to music from it through the aux input on my stereo (through the charge lead) but when every I make or answer a call while driving, the sound defaults to the speaker on the phone and nothing can be heard. I have to press the "Speaker" button on the screen and then i can hear the person on the call without issue.
