RIM :: Can't Get Rid Of An Email Notification On 9900

I have a permanent new message notification on my home screen. I've gone through all my email folders, I'd looked for hidden folder and can't find why that notification is there. It constantly shows I have 1 new email message.
Is there any way to remove or disable notification bar on my 9900? The email and message icons show me when there is a new message so this thing is a waste of my screen space and time.
I found out that when I try to dial something in the "Phone" section (Phone icon), there is a sound - how do I disable it?Also I use a pre-paid package, when I check my fone balance, there is always a network notification sound that is REALLY loud (!) and there is absolutely no way to reduce the volume or make it silence.I work at office and I want to silence the key tone when dialing in Phone section, along as reduce sound or silence the network notification sound when check balance.Atm the only way is to switch to Silence or Alerts Off modes.
How do I configure email to blink the notification light when an email is received? Also, I have 3 email accounts configured: Exchange and 2 Gmail accounts. I changed the Gmail accounts to sync email every 15 minutes. The Exchange account works but not the gmail accounts. Gmail has IMAP already enabled.
In the last day or so have I experienced a problem where by I get a new email notification icon, but no new email in my inbox. At first I suspected it was the Android theme I have running, but when I went to use a different them I was getting the same result everytime.
Phone vibrates on receiving email and will not stop till iv read the email, I've got notification as no vibrate but it still vibrates on receiving email on hotmail and gmail (notifications in both set up on vibration is off )
I have had a notification icon for email on my phone for weeks. I deleted all messages yet its still there. I evenhad my phone replaced for another reason and its on the new phone.
My blackberry can send and receive new email/message, but I can't read any new email/message in my inbox even the email notification shown there are 17 new message in my inbox. Have check the Firewall setting and it has block anything. Have check all the email folder but no joy, didn't set any email filter.
Justed purchase from Rogers Bold 9700 v5.0.0.351, IT no help from company nor Rogers. I am getting email notification icon from BES but no email is updated or found. Rogers told me to upload the OS again and cannot delete the service books since the BES reloads them again. Unusual problem.SMS works though.
I had my email on my blackberry bold 9900 and 2 days ago my battery died on me so when i got home and plugged it in blackberry desktop came up saying i had an update so i updated it,and then everything on my phone was gone.. So i restored it back to its old self and now for some reason i dont have email account managment now and im not getting any emails on my phone.
I have a client who has moved onto a new handset, he's set to synch messages as old as 90 days.Hand set only synchs messages since the setup (welcome BB email).
I already had an email account on my bold 9900 but recently i changed my password and now bb email wants me to go to setup and verificate my new password. The problem is that whenever i go to setup and click on email account and then Internet Mail Account nothing happened. It's not responding, and i can't do anything about my email, delate it, nor add new one.
I can't add any email accounts to my 9900. I have followed all the general instructions i.e. settings, then email accounts...When I do this a screen appears thats says no accounts added and underneath an option to add Enterprise account? Which I don't have, this seems to be the only account that can be added.
I receive my Gmail emails on my Bold 9900. Problem is, if I've read the new emails on my computer first, they still show up as unread emails on my Bold.Is there a setting I can use that will make it so that if I've read emails on another device, the emails will no longer show up in the notification bar? As it is right now, all new messages show up in the notification bar, despite having read the emails already on my computer.Also, there is 1 Facebook notification that won't go away. There's nothing in the notification center, and I've opened and refreshed Facebook, but that 1 notification is still there.
i just started using bold 9900 and i want to set up my mail. the problem is when i want to setup the email it will always ask for enterprise activation. i want to setup an internet mail. i look up a video by vodaphone in Internet and the setup is different than mine.
I want to set up my work email (Microsoft Outlook) on my Blackberry. Every time I try to enter the details it tells me the details are incorrect and I need to check them. They are not incorrect, I have double checked all the details. It is a POP/IMAP account. I have all the required details, incoming server, username, passwords etc.It also claims the server is down when I try to enter the details, this is also unture. Please could someone tell me how to sort this, I need work emails on my phone and as we are a small company have no IT department so to speak.
I have recently got in to a huge depression after my email couldn't be configured to my Bold.I have a domain email. When I try to set up my email on the device it says to contact the server but in the server the confirgurations are ok.On the same note my staff uses a blackberry Germini 8520i. He can run the same domain email on it.I was comparing this and found out that in his phone you can configure ports.I am really in need of a professional assistance.My Network Service provider Digicel technicial team cannot even get this confirgured as they say the server some how is blocking the email to confirgure. I tried to configure the same email on a windows 7.5 phone and it works perfectly in that phone
I bought new BlackBeryy 9900.An i would like to add some email account. I created Blackberry ID.But in SETUP-Email Accounts i have option ONLY ffor enterprise account.How i can get rid of it since i don't have password and account, or where i can get account and password and who is administrator? is that girls who are working in T-Mobile, they can give, or who, Can someone explain me?
I am using a new Blackberry Bold 9900 and I have been facing this problem. I can download emails on my phone but I can't view the attachments (jpg, pdf) which came together with the emails.
how to go about deleting an email account from my 9900 Bold. I have tried reading the explanation in the knowledge base, but I cannot even figure out how to Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account.
how to delete an email address from a BB 9900 please? I have tried all ways to delete the email address and have been unsuccessful. Am getting very frustrated now as the phone needs to have all info removed due to sale. Have managed to delete all information apart from the email address.
About a month ago I had a severe system crash and had to re-install BB 7.1, once it was re-installed I used Blackberry Protect to get all my settings back. For some reason since then my phone will not send or recieve email even though it shows I have an email account set up on it. When I go to Setup and try to click on "Email Accounts" nothing happens MOST of the time. Sometimes I can get into the next screen but it won't let me open the BIS only the BES. I have searched and searched and used a few of the remedies I have seen on here and none of them have worked. I have the approriate data plan as email worked fine BEFORE the system crash, I have "registered" it and re-sent the data packs and everything else. I just can't get past the one screen to get INTO the settings. I have tried mobile.blackberry.com, chose Canada but there is NOTHING there to change any email settings.

My bold 9900 e-mail set up always automatically come up after leave it for a while or after unlock screen, I have all e-mail seup already. Also try remove all e-mail and setup again this problem still exist, very annoy.
I have had my BB for around 2 weeks ago and up to now have had no problems. Now all of a sudden today it keeps asking me to validate my email. I have done this several times and get the message that validation has been successful. A couple of minutes later it asks me to do it again!I have deleted my email account and re-added it aswell as do the battery pull but still no success. I rely heavily on my phone to get emails through but it won't work.Can anyone advise me what to do or what the problem might be? I have a gmail account but there isn't any problems with that.
