Are people still receiving traffic information in the UK. It worked for about 2 weeks on the latest update (the free one of course!), but now it updates but doesn't download any new information and says its updated at so-and-so time.

They were updating fine until about 4 days ago, and now everytime I click on update traffic info, it does the check, and no traffic info comes through. I'm from the UK, using the 5800 XpressMusic with the latest Ovi Maps App.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been using Nokia Maps for my 5800 and have been very impressed (its not perfect but given its free).However, the only one bit that seems to *never* work is the traffic updates (I have tried several times).When using navigation, I choose update traffic¯, it says updated successfully¯ but I see no traffic anywhere (on the map, on the traffic update screen)Any ideas?

I have been using the Ovi Maps satnav regularly for several months (and am delighted with it)but never seem to get any traffic information - even when my car's built-in Traffic Master is warning me of congestion ahead.I have the phone set to update traffic information every five minutes but, to date, have never received anything! How can I transfer the Traffic & Security License to the E90 where my Drive Europe license is?
On my new Lumia 920, Nokia maps is not showing traffic info for me. I have already updated to 3.0, but when I set the map view to traffic info, nothing happens.
WIth the builtin Bing maps however (which is not directly accessible, but for example when clicking on a contact's address), traffic info works just fine. I'm in Germany, so it's not about the coverage.
How works the traffic info in Nokia Drive? I mean, I see no option to activate/deactivate it. Does it allow to change the route according to traffic? Can we setup this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried this on 3 different Nokia E6 phones, on GPRS with 5bars, 3G with 5bars and at home over wifi. All internet traffic is really slow, when on the browser downloading the SIS file for google maps, it took 5mins to download just 160k. Once I did get it installed, the Google Maps app take ages to load map tiles, and emails take about a minute to download an email with just a few lines of text.
When using OVI store, pages load really slow. So all internet apps are slow. The phone overall is quick. All this in an edge or 3G area with 5bars, and 3 phones do the exact same. All firmware ver 22.14. Same settings, area and sim card in my Nokia E71 and E72 are perfect.
My daughters both have 9300's One is running on 6.0 2949 the other 9300 will not let me upgrade from 5.0 1399. When I plug phone into PC and check for updates I get message saying no Blackberry updates
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the Market App was updated to ver. 3.1.5 on my htc Desire, that when I get a new message in the notification area that there are updates for any of my20 Apps and clicking on updates it goes straight into My apps but no updates are showing only installed apps so don't know what apps need to be updated, or if already updated it does not say what app was updated.On clicking on all my apps there is no ticks in any of the Automatic Update boxes! Before the update to ver. 3.1.5 you could see what apps needed to be updated and why and had a choice if you wanted it updated or not

If you go to the "Traffic" menu in TomTom on a second phone and log in with those details it will work fine but inactivate HD Traffic on the first handset. AFAIK you can swap around as often as you like but it can only be operational on one phone at a time.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI currently have a 5800 and am happy with it, but it is also a bit buggy - slow, hangs/freezes, sometimes restarts etc. I have the option of buying a new N97 for $200 and I'm really tempted to buy it and sell the 5800 (I originally wanted the N97 but couldn't afford it). I like the QWERTY and its homescreen but I keep hearing the ram is too small for its capabilities and that it's been very buggy. Can anyone tell me if it has improved with the updates and if I should get it, or just stick to the 5800?

I downloaded about 30 apps, a lot of Nokia and also other populars such as Skype, Facebook, Twitter and so on.I haven't received any app update since I bought my phone and downloaded all those apps. I think it's strange because on my 800, I still receive regular app updates (about two-three times a week I think)So, I think it's abnormal that I don't receive any updates on the 920. Could this have something to do with the wifi issue on the current Win8 release?

I want to use wifi when available and only (expensive) 3G data when no wifi is available. what I should check?
