here again with a problem on my neo v mobile.i wantd to use internet on my mobile i had used many times also but this time while im enabling the data traffic it is showing as enabled but there is no E symbol and also i cant use the network data.

I keep having to manually turn it off (by unchecking 'Data enabled'), which is annoying. What might be triggering it back on all the time? I want to use wifi when available and only (expensive) 3G data when no wifi is available. what I should check? I've read that 'apndroid' can assist, however I don't want to use this if it's not necessary.

No notification comes in the notification bar once it is turned on and I am unable to connect. But on disconnecting, the data traffic has been disabled notification appears.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm just trying to work through my phone after updating to 2.1, it's like having a new phone and starting all over again!On the new 2.1 if you got to Settings, Wireless and Network, Mobile Networks....the top two are "Data Roaming" and "Date Traffic". Is DATA TRAFFIC equivalent to the Internet/MMS application on 1.6?If I click Yes to Data Traffic it warns me that "additional charges may apply....." etc etc. I didn't get that warning on 1.6? I found some apps that show monthly and daily wifi usage, but it's combined for all wifi networks you connect to. I am looking for an app that shows usage per wifi network.

I tried uninstalling the app but still the problem persists. I tried switching off the phone, remove battery didn't work also tried the airplane mode on/off without luck also tried changing the ENABLE DATA in the settings no luck Cleare all current APN's and re installed the APN settings but still the problem persists?

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen you first use HD Traffic you set up a username (email address) and password. If you go to the "Traffic" menu in TomTom on a second phone and log in with those details it will work fine but inactivate HD Traffic on the first handset. AFAIK you can swap around as often as you like but it can only be operational on one phone at a time.

I have been using the Ovi Maps satnav regularly for several months (and am delighted with it)but never seem to get any traffic information - even when my car's built-in Traffic Master is warning me of congestion ahead.I have the phone set to update traffic information every five minutes but, to date, have never received anything! View 8 Replies View RelatedI noticed this evening that my broadband connection was running very slowly, and realised that a wireless device was sending constant WiFi traffic.
I traced this back to my iPhone 4S and through experimentation have diagnosed it as follows: When the iPhone is connected to a mains charger and idle, it generates constant WiFi traffic.If I wake the iPhone it immediately stops sending WiFi traffic - until it goes back to sleep and idles again.Also if I unplug the iPhone from the mains it immediately stops sending WiFi traffic.The iPhone *never* does this when it is disconnected from the mains - only when it is charging. What is going on here? Does the iPhone do something over WiFi when charging and idle? Or is my handset likely to be faulty (I bought it from the Apple store in London about a week ago)?
