Nokia Nseries :: Sms Not Working Anymore - Can't Receive One?

After cleaning a large e-mail mailbox, my sms stopped working. I can't even type a new message anymore, or can't receive one.My nokia n8 went to nokia than and came back friday with factory settings. Than the sms worked again fine.Today i reinstalled the back up i made with nokia suite before the nokia 8 was sent to nokia and after that sms stopped working again. What can i do to solve this ? Back to factory settings again ? Can i do it myself ?
The email client on my N8 with Belle suddenly stopped working. I have configured my email with IMAP (Standard not OVI!) and it was working OK until a couple of days ago. Now I can not retrieve/send any email - I always get the message: "Unable to sign in. Try again.". I also tried and removed this particular account and added it once again (as a matter of fact I did this about 10 times!!!) but still no emails are shown. Of course this same mail is working perfectly on all of my PCs and notebooks.
i got a nokia n82 and it was working perfectly fine until someday one speaker stopped working and after a week the other one stopped working.i stiil listen to people when i call them or when they call me
I have a problem with my N95. During update with a usbcable nad nokia pc suite the cable is disconnected. Now my phone will not boot anymore. It does says "nokia"but the backlight is not on.
Is there a method that can hard reset or reformat the device?
I bought this phone on the 16th of feb but now mass storage is gone not showing anymore not even on PC... i did everything like installing latest software, restore, delete data and restore and hard reset but still not detecing mass storage.
I am not able to access internet via wi-fi anymore. I can connect to a wi-fi with success but i can not connect to internet i get "mobile data off/connection unavaliable".I looked into network settings set priority of active wi-fi to 1 and tied like 10 random wi-fis My internet works fine if i`m not into wi-fi so i guess it`s a option that i must have changed to deactivate wi-fi or something like that
For some reason after upgrading to Belle I have lost the option to switch geo-tagging on in the camera settings. It is just not there where it used to be. I need this for work, that is why I got myself a camera phone with this option.
Anybody have this problem or am I just looking in the wrong place to switch it on / off? It used to be in the camera settings menu,now I have only: image quality - show captured image - default image name - capture tone - memory in use - restore camera settings.
Both applications: AccuWeather and AP mobile are unable to connect to network anymore after I upgraded 808 PureView to Feature Pack 2, regardles of selection of wlan or gsm/umts.
I have Chat (or Nokia Messenger for IM) version 2.0.10 installed on my E72. I used to be able to use it for Gtalk and MSN chatting. But now I can not log in anymore. I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?
On my 6760 slide, i tried to type my lock code which i was sure i knew but it didnt work. my lock code had an exclaimation mark in it but when i try to type the exclaimation mark, it doesn't register on the code screen. the button does work though as i tested it in the notes application.
I got this problem with my N97 which can't make & receive calls but still can send & receive message. This problem happen after a few days i upgraded its software ver from v21 to v22. I've tried reinstall back the v22 but still didn't work. I try to reset it to factory setting, but still not working. When I try to dail no its say "not allowed". Other function seems good.
I really like this phone for first few days I had it, but I'm having problems with making calls and receiving calls when I wake up in the morning. The phone is fully charged or is charging before I go to sleep. The problem I am having is when I wake up I noticed that I can't make calls. The phone works and is functional, signal is strong or decent, but when I make a call, I can't hear anything. I'm not actually sure if it makes the call or not since I can't hear anything. I'm assuming it doesn't since I don't receive my early morning calls either. I have to restart the phone to get the phone fully functional again. So far it's happened all 3 nights I had the phone.
I have problem with Viber on my 1020.When i exit the app or press home to close it i can't receive calls anymore, ppl say that my status is offline, and even when i open the app my phone is not ringing when my friend is calling me.And then after few seconds or minutes i get info about missed call(s).It's totally messed up because sometimes its ringing but only when Viber is opened i think.
I'm unable to make or receive calls after upgrading to latest nokia Maps.Frequently i need to restart the phone, to check for voice mails, whether i've received calls or not.I've reinstalled the Belle-OS several times and restored the factory settings too.
i am not able to send and receive files on my nokia 701 through Bluetooth...except one of my another nokia c5-03 on which i am only able to send the files but cannot receive from that also.
I recently updated my N8 to Symbian Anna w/o any problems. After the update, the phone will not send/receive phone calls/text messages after it has been sitting in locked mode (the screen displays the default clock) after about 30 minutes. Once I have restarted the phone it works properly until it returns to the locked mode. I have performed a factory reset on the device with out any luck.
I have a Blackberry Torch 9810.I used to be able to BBM before, but for some reason I can't send or receive any messages via BBM.This has gone on for a while. My BBM contacts live in my country and I was able to BBM them all the time before. I don't know why I can't now.
I have a blackberry 8520. I recently updated to the newest version of blackberry messenger 5.0. I used to be able to receive voice notes and pics before I upgraded, however, now I cannot. People recieve my voice notes and pics, but I cannot recieve theirs. A contact keeps trying to send me pics and voice notes and keeps getting the same message everytime she tries. the message tells her "xxx Unable to save file" xxx is me. I dont get it.
After I got back home and switched on my phone when the plane landed, up until now I still can't receive H+ signal. I was using H+ rather than 4G because it is still more widespread, but now I can't received any. How can I sort this out?
Some time ago I received a notification stating that I needed to verify my password to continue receive emails from my Hotmail account. The instruction stated that I needed to launch the Setup Wizard and click on the Email Accounts icon and then select the "Internet mail Account" icon to verify my password. I follow the instructions but, when I click on the "Internet mail Account" icon nothing happens and my only available option is "return to Setup".
Anyone else out there own a 700? This thing is just a disaster! I've owned Nokia phones (an no other make) for over 10 years, but this is by far my most disappointing experience. I am at wits end and near the tipping point (of purchasing an iPhone 5).Nearly 1 in 5 times I use the darned thing it crashes. Also, my icons for search items are gone (except for restaurants). I restored the phone and now it won't download any maps! I used to have complete maps for the USA, Canada and Mexico, but now it will not even download the USA.I can not download the latest firmware (version of Symbian). My phone says it is up-to-date, but it is not. I do not have a PC so I can not use Nokia Suite (why? Nokia, get real and write a Mac version already).
When I reboot my phone it will not receive voice mail or text messages! I have to reboot it again.Why is this phone so buggy? I'm sending it in for warranty repair but I don't think I want this or any Nokia software phone. I think I'll try a Nokia Windows phone if Nokia will give me some credit for this phone and allow me to apply it towards the Windows versions. I mean seriously, Apple has their bomb proof software that works. If there is a bug, give them a week and there's an easily obtained update. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I'm being driven away. Can someone help me make this right? I'm sure whatever Nokia tech looks at my phone will say it is fine, it's the software that is uncooperative.Anyone else with a 700?
i got a nokia n8 from singapore ....so it should be region free...n i got mobilicity .......the thing is that i can call people i can text ....i can use my internet browser .....but i can't use aplications that require internet !!!! for example a facebook app ...after i open it it says no connection ...even though im able to browse the web +_+.....is this a config problem or is it just because mobilicity is just incompatible with the nokia n8 ?
My iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.
