Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Wifi Won't Connect Anymore
Dec 10, 2011we have 3 mini pros, mine, wife and workmate.we are all having the same issue which is our phone will no longer connect to wifi we have tried the following-
-updated firmware 2.1
-made sure signal strength is excellant
-reset settings
-reset modem and made sure password and security details are correct
-used different modems and wifis to test the phone
-downloaded and used wifi apps ie wifi fixer etc
- read the hundreds of suggestions in different forums regarding this issue with this phone... noone has had any real success. maybe one or two people like i said, we have 3 of these phones with 3 different wifi modems. and have tried connecting to other wifi... it just refuses to connect its a shame becuase i can speak for the others in saying , if i knew the wifi didnt work on this phone we would never of bought it.
Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: It Won't Sync Anymore, Username Has Changed Itself?
Dec 12, 2011I set up sync when first installing the PC companion, and everything has worked great until a few days ago. Now it won't sync and I keep getting random alerts day and night. I've checked the settings and I have a random looking username which I can't change as it's greyed and not selectable. Password is hidden but only shows 8 chars and not 10 as it should be. The only way to stop the annoying alerts is switch background data traffic off, but then my apps like sat nav need it!

May 17, 2011why my phones slide unlock thing aint there anymore.when i have my phone in my pocket its not locked and i end up doing things without realising it.usually you push the button then slide the bar across to unlock it. im confused. also this phone is trippy as **** ie: restarting on its own,freezing and crashing etc.

Jul 15, 2011I got my phone yesterday via Ebay. I put my Virgin sim card into it and it worked perfectly. I could send SMS and make calls. When I got home I updated the firmware to 2.1.1.A.0.6.
Everything seemed fine but I didn't check if I could phone or SMS. I just assumed it was OK. This morning at work I realised I could not send SMS or make phone calls. I got my friend to ring me and all he got was my number could not be connected to. I can still use mobile internet and emails. If I make a call it says "Call Ended" almost immediately.
I put my sim into my friends T-Mobile phone and it works fine. It also works in my Virgin Nokia phone. I've tried a factory reset, a firmware refresh and changing the APN settings with no luck.

Jul 3, 2011received warning that I am running out of memory on my X10 Mini Pro. At the same time I could no longer receive sms messages, just send.
Cleared memory card files, sms' and updated to:
- Android 2.1.1.A.0.6
- 11 MB available phone memory
- 1 GB available memory card storage
Warning on out-of-memory remains, still can't receive text messages. What to do? Is 11 MB phone memory too low? Then, how to clear?

Dec 10, 2011Have had this problem since I got the phone (the only problem I have with it btw). Can connect to the internet just fine. But whether I download the MMS settings or manually input them. When I send an MMS it gets Queued when I recieve one, I hit download but it doesn't download.

Aug 22, 2012Since a few weeks now, i don't receive all text messages that are sent to my phone by contacts anymore.I can't pin an exact number how much messages are 'gone missing', but for example, yesterday i was texting the whole day with a friend,and of the on average 25 messages she sent, 3 never reached my phone. Also, sometimes when i get a message the text stops in midway and it ends with a piece of text from another message, that i received weeks ago. However, this problem has dimished over the past weeks. By the way, i have to add, i'm thinking of doing a factory reset, but for that i need to save all my contacts. i tried exporting all my contacts to my sim (using the import/export function in contacts),but when i used my sim on an older phone, only half of my contacts were transferred.I have to add that i got a notification that the sim was full, so some data wasn't transferred.

Nov 3, 2010After going through the update where it said that we could go now directly send and receive files using bluetooth but then I still can't seem to be able to use it. I have the options to send the files but whenever I do so it would say file transfer failed to the other phone I"m sending the file to. At bluetooth settings, it says 'paired but not connected'. Prior to update I was able to receive files but after so I can do neither.

Mar 18, 2012I purchased Xperia Mini Pro (Black colour) on 15th March 2012. Am not able to receive files transferred from other mobile phones using Bluetooth.
I go to Settings-->Wireless and Network-->Bluetooth. I switched on Bluetooth and device visibility. I accept the passcode and I am able to pair with other mobile phone.
But while the file is getting transferred from othe mobile phone, my Xperia mini pro suddenly stops transfer and says, "failed to receive file".
The mobile has simcard and 2GB memory card. how to make file fransfers from other mobile working using bluetooth.

Aug 14, 2011I was just checking my emails and the screen suddenly went blank. I removed the battery and then turned the cellphone on again. It could turn on again, but some settings were gone (VPN settings and Mobile Networks). I did the "Settings Reset", but it didn't work, nothing happened.
I can't receive phone calls and or texts, nor can I go online thru my Mini pro. What's wrong with my cellphone?

android version: 4.0.4, build number: 4.1.B.0.431
baseband version: 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028G-72
I use USB tethering a lot, and sometimes for very long times. When I disconnect the phone, sometimes, my phone becomes unable to receive calls. And even worse, the caller hears the normal calling sound, but my phone just doesn't do anything. So to the caller it seems that I'm just not answering, although the phone isn't notifying me in any way, during the call or after the call! So there is no way telling how many calls I'm missing..
When I try "reset" the mobile network by going to flight mode and back, the phone completely locks, and I have to remove the battery to reboot the phone. This problem won't go away unless I reboot the phone. This happens awfully often, regardless if I click USB tethering off from the phone first before disconnecting it. The most important function is not working and makes the "phone" useless.

Feb 3, 2010I do have a N97 mini for some weeks now (non-branded phone bought in Germany) and until today it worked fine.Since today the USB connection to a PC does not work anymore -- after connecting the N97 mini to a PC the PC does not recognize the new USB device and there is no selection menu on the N97 mini. In addition there's no message on the phone that the battery is charging.
I tried this with different USB cables and different PCs - on both PCs the USB connection worked before without problems.I can still charge the batterie with the normal charger (which also connects to the USB port).What can I do to fix this error?
