Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: It Won't Sync Anymore, Username Has Changed Itself?

I set up sync when first installing the PC companion, and everything has worked great until a few days ago. Now it won't sync and I keep getting random alerts day and night. I've checked the settings and I have a random looking username which I can't change as it's greyed and not selectable. Password is hidden but only shows 8 chars and not 10 as it should be. The only way to stop the annoying alerts is switch background data traffic off, but then my apps like sat nav need it!

After I log into my account I am told the server gs1.sonyericsson.com on CWS Authentication demands a username and password. If I don't write username and password I can't edit my contacts or calendar.

I have an issue with the wifi connection...my x10 mini pro is recognising my home network but it isn't connecting...it was all well until i had a problem in my router and had to change the username and password...this latest username and password had not been updated in my phone and hence it just recognises or finds my home network but doesn't connect...where can i change the username of my home network in the phone? Until i change the username i cannot connect to the network...so plz help me out! I've tried re-booting phone and router as well..and tried "forget" network,search n connect again..nothing worked! It says " the network password u've typed is not correct,pls try again"

when typing with the physical keyboard, the Z and the Y is changed. So the Y is next to the U and the Z is next to the X. How can I change this? I want to have it the other way around.

I`m using X10mini Color of my phone`s BACK, MENU & OPTION buttons are changed. But there isn`t any problem for side buttons (Volume & Camera) Can i get warranty for these buttons?

we have 3 mini pros, mine, wife and workmate.we are all having the same issue which is our phone will no longer connect to wifi we have tried the following-
-updated firmware 2.1
-made sure signal strength is excellant
-reset settings
-reset modem and made sure password and security details are correct
-used different modems and wifis to test the phone
-downloaded and used wifi apps ie wifi fixer etc
- read the hundreds of suggestions in different forums regarding this issue with this phone... noone has had any real success. maybe one or two people like i said, we have 3 of these phones with 3 different wifi modems. and have tried connecting to other wifi... it just refuses to connect its a shame becuase i can speak for the others in saying , if i knew the wifi didnt work on this phone we would never of bought it.

why my phones slide unlock thing aint there anymore.when i have my phone in my pocket its not locked and i end up doing things without realising it.usually you push the button then slide the bar across to unlock it. im confused. also this phone is trippy as **** ie: restarting on its own,freezing and crashing etc.

I got my phone yesterday via Ebay. I put my Virgin sim card into it and it worked perfectly. I could send SMS and make calls. When I got home I updated the firmware to 2.1.1.A.0.6.
Everything seemed fine but I didn't check if I could phone or SMS. I just assumed it was OK. This morning at work I realised I could not send SMS or make phone calls. I got my friend to ring me and all he got was my number could not be connected to. I can still use mobile internet and emails. If I make a call it says "Call Ended" almost immediately.
I put my sim into my friends T-Mobile phone and it works fine. It also works in my Virgin Nokia phone. I've tried a factory reset, a firmware refresh and changing the APN settings with no luck.

I bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

My xperia x10 pro wont let me do anything. it told me it had updates available and wont let me get them. it wont let me get on the market place either and it wont let me sync my contacts to my computer.

After the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

syncing my mini pro to google - especially calendar and contacts, theese are the two most important features of the phone for me. In the past but more often recently (actually every time I sync via internet connection), I get theese notifications: am using Bussines Calander Free app as my calendar app. Could this be issue with PC Companion or with BCF?

I got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.

Trying to set up the phone to sync with the Calendar in Outlook on my laptop, however it only appears to allow connection directly with an exchange server. I cannot use it that way, as I do not have appropriate corporate approvals for this. Is it possible to sync only to the laptop calendar, if so, how do I do this, do I need an extra piece of software? If I can't set it up in this this way, I'll be returning the phone, as it is no good to me as is.

When clicking the sync button I just get a blank page that prompts to re-direct if nothing happens in 10 secs. When choosing the re-direct, nothing happens except the screen goes totally blank.

I have upgraded to android 2.1. I am unable to use sync funtionality. Even when the connection is perfect and also the user login details are correct, I am unable to sync the phone data with the online data and hence the error is being shown to check the account settings.

Today I joined the 21c and got an Xperia X10 mini pro.Lovely phone but I need to update and sync my contacts from Outlook or Hotmail.I gather Android refuses to work with Hotmail directly and Active sync doesn't work with Android 2.1.So I was relieved when I saw that I could use PC Companion via Google email (although why I want yet another email account is beyond me), only to find that it is telling me I don't have Outlook installed on my PC.I do!It is Outlook 2010 and is a legal copy! I am trying to love my new phone but right now I am very frustrated.I just want my contacts and my calendar.

I've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

I love the synchronization of PC Companion between Google and Outlook, and have been using it to full satisfaction for Outlook 2010.
However, I recently upgraded to Office 2013, and now PC Companion doesn't recognize Outlook 2013 as a valid source anymore.
Is there official word about whether Sony will work on an update to continue support for Office 2013?

I installed Roadsync software to configure Exchange server mail box. i configured with out any issues. AM able to send/ recieve email. But i need to click on sync everytime to have my inbox update, or else it wont update automatically if Gmail mailbox in the same mobile

I use a Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i). For the past one week whenever Gmail app is opened it shows 'Waiting for sync' and after 30 seconds or so the app closes with the message ' Unfortunately - Gmail has stopped'. I did the settings reset, factory reset and reinstalled the o/s.
