I'm a new user and have 2.1 installed on my phone. I have followed the instructions to sync my contacts, calendar and notes to my computer but only the contacts sync successfully. Is there something special I have to do?
View 5 RepliesAfter updateing my Xperia x10 mini to 2.1, and in spite of doing the Backup & restore, all my notes in the (sony ericssoon) Notes app have disappeared! How do I get them back? Obvioulsly Backup & restore didn't back them up...
I always wonderd if there is such a thing as a recycling bin on the sdcard?

Lotus notes version: 8.0.2
I use BIS with tmobile and have my gmail emails delivered to my device.I am doing a lotus notes one-way calendar sync with my BB calendar. I am able to do this successfully. But the alarm & free/busy thing does not sync.Even though I have alarm set in my notes which works perfectly and I see the notification 15 mins before the meeting on my PC. They don't show up in BB calendar. In BB Desktop Manager-> map fields, the notes 'notify me' is mapped to 'device alarm flag' but when I open the details of an entry that BDM is going to make in the accept/reject screen these fields are empty. I am using the default field mapping in the desktop manager.
All reminder works for the entries that I create directly in BB. The device calendar reminder is set properly. No issues there.What should I change in the desktop manager so that I get a reminder in my BB for the lotus notes entry?
I have a new PC and want to sync all my tunes, contacts, calender and notes from my iphone into the new PC.I want to synce the notes and calender with outlook and the contact with windows contacts. Do a need some software to do this?

Try again later.'I've reed in this forum that the exact problem was in August-September 2011, which was solved only in early November by manipulating on Ovi Servers.How can I restore my contacts now? Will be the issue solved and how urgently?

I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?

Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.

When the I am instructed to switch off my Xperia and turn it on back again to contact with my PC I am getting the below window which states that I need to scroll the smart status bar and choose 'Connected USB device' on my phone and than 'Instal'... well.. I don't have these option. When I scroll down the status bar I get only 2 options: 'Connect USB' or Do not connect'. If I connect it it revert me back to the previous point when the system is asking to switch off and on the phone.

Tried to carry out the update on 2 computers without success. On one computer PC companion returns an eror message at the 'preparing computer' stage - no help on how to rectify the problem. On my laptop, PC companion switches off my phone and then freezes the computer. I di on one attempt get to the 'update' stage where I was presented with some odd manipulations of disconnecting and re-connecting the phone. I followed the instructions but then update process didn't continue.Can anyone cast any light on this or better still can Sony provide the update OTA?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

I have tried updating via the PC Compnanion but that is useless and and I get absolutely nowhere. When I queried this with Sony they said its a common problem ( ! ) and I should update the software online. They did warn that this might cause loss of data and so I should back-up the data on the phone first. When I asked them how I do this no-one bothered to reply. Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to do this as Sony aren't interested.
