Feb 2, 2011After updateing my Xperia x10 mini to 2.1, and in spite of doing the Backup & restore, all my notes in the (sony ericssoon) Notes app have disappeared! How do I get them back? Obvioulsly Backup & restore didn't back them up...
I always wonderd if there is such a thing as a recycling bin on the sdcard?

Dec 25, 2011After upgrading my Xperia X10 mini pro all my notes disappeared even though I did a back-up. I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?

Aug 25, 2010I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 that I sync using the Desktop Manager for my calendar, tasks, etc. I have several Notes in Outlook that I also want to sync. I have gone to my sync options and selected that I want to sync my Notes, but it doesn't seem to be working. I can't find the Notes on my Blackberry where they say it should be and I do not see errors in my Logs.

May 17, 2010I haven't found a proper answer to this so posting here. Hopefully I will get a quick answer from some of the experts here.
BB Desktop Manager version: 5.0.1.37
Device: Curve 8900 4.6.1
Lotus notes version: 8.0.2
I use BIS with tmobile and have my gmail emails delivered to my device.I am doing a lotus notes one-way calendar sync with my BB calendar. I am able to do this successfully. But the alarm & free/busy thing does not sync.Even though I have alarm set in my notes which works perfectly and I see the notification 15 mins before the meeting on my PC. They don't show up in BB calendar. In BB Desktop Manager-> map fields, the notes 'notify me' is mapped to 'device alarm flag' but when I open the details of an entry that BDM is going to make in the accept/reject screen these fields are empty. I am using the default field mapping in the desktop manager.
All reminder works for the entries that I create directly in BB. The device calendar reminder is set properly. No issues there.What should I change in the desktop manager so that I get a reminder in my BB for the lotus notes entry?
IPhone :: Notes Application Cannot Find Notes Have Written
Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.

And I had many....And eager as I was to get the new upgrade, I didn't write down all these notes on a reliable piece of paper with a reliable pen to secure that I wouldn't miss them afterwards IF they were to disappear!I followed all the steps at the sonyericsson webpage, and noticed that it said on the webpage that all things NOT included in the backup, which I was supposed to do before upgrading, would NOT be "disturbed" by the upgrade.. But here I am now, sitting with my phone WITHOUT any of those important notes!
