Sep 23, 2015After updating to Lollipop, (I had 5.0.1 and no 5.1.1) my phone started doing really weird stuff. For example, two months ago, sensors stopped working in any moment and I had to reset it for normal behaviour (for a few hours or minutes, depending the day). Well, that stopped one day without doing anything dramatic (I did factory reset two or three times). But now it got even worst: the microphone just stop working while doing simple phone calls. I have tested it in whatsapp audios and android testing and everything seems fine... So I have to reset the phone and it works for a random amount of time. I think this is an Android Lollipop issue, but I haven't been able to confirm that. If so, How to manage it?

Xperia Z3 :: Microphone Mutes During Calls With Wired Headphones
Jul 3, 2010I have a Sony Z3 D6653 running Android 5.1.1 and I have noticed a slightly frustrating issue. When on a call using the Sony headphones that came with the phone, everything starts off well. When the screen locks however, the microphone on the headphones mute. Unlocking the screen does not unmute the headphones, nor does muting and unmuting the call through the phone application.
The only way to unmute the microphone is to unplug the headphone, then the phone's microphone will work. It also starts working once the headphones are replaced. I have been having bluetooth microphone problems, which I still haven't resolved, and will post on another thread. In order to try and fix that, I have taken off noise suppression, equaliser, and any other microphone / noise related enhancements. I have left Okay Google working on all screens though.

Next month I can get a new cellphone and were it not for the horrendous soundquality when recording video, I would definately take an HTC Desire (HD or not). But the sound of the HD video's is so dramatically bad I am thinking about taking a Samsung instead. Except...Is it possible to attach an external 3.5mm or USB microphone to this device to use it for videorecording? I thought I saw this with the iPhone, but Im allergic to Apple. So is it possible to record video using an external microphone?

Jun 23, 2012I purchased iphone4 last year from authorized Apple reseller in Vietnam.As of last Friday It started very strange problem - sudden stop as mid-conversation the other side stop hearing me.It should be noted that I tried to put the speaker, connect headphones, connect headset Bluetooth earphones and nothing worked - still they have not heard me.More mention - when I talk through other applications (Bphobe, Skype and so on) or when I'm recording myself in "voice memo" or using voice commands -the microphone works fine and without any problem!
