Cannot use microphone during calls as the person on the other end cannot hear me, though i am able to hear. I am using iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1 and the same microphone works on other phones.

I purchased iphone4 last year from authorized Apple reseller in Vietnam.As of last Friday It started very strange problem - sudden stop as mid-conversation the other side stop hearing me.It should be noted that I tried to put the speaker, connect headphones, connect headset Bluetooth earphones and nothing worked - still they have not heard me.More mention - when I talk through other applications (Bphobe, Skype and so on) or when I'm recording myself in "voice memo" or using voice commands -the microphone works fine and without any problem!

I am using the 950XL at my work and love it. Recently I bought a USB Microphone (Rode Podcaster). It works really well while using it to record voice-interviews with the audio recorder..but while shooting video the phone uses the internal mic instead of the external!?
Microsoft Sweden tells me the video-app does not support external microphones and do not have any solution getting around the problem.
This just can't be right?! Why having a high-end phone with a beautiful camera and USB OTG and do not letting it to support external microphones in video???? In situations like this I actually feel a bit stupid not going for an iPhone.
Have Microsoft simply forgotten to unlock something in the code for the video-app? It just don't make any sense.
The microphone does not work calls only when recording videos or to send notes whatsapp.

Voice search (the app you get to by holding search) and Soundhound give me errors every time I try to use them with the vehicle dock connected. If I disconnect the vehicle dock, they work again, and as soon as I reconnect it they quit working.
Strangely enough, the app "Text by Voice" seems to be unaffected.

Video works. Siri recognizes a little bit of noise when I blow in the left hole on the bottom. memo works when I shout at the left hole (you can hear your voice but not that much). so it's not a hardware problem. haven't dropped it or something. in fact the 4s stood the days between the call, the update and the second call in it's stand.
