Sep 5, 2012I have tried google hangout, skype, yahoo video chats. All of these chats have the same problem: they cannot hear my voice or it is very very low. Tried the Skype echo test and found out that actually had something wrong with tablet's microphone captures voice at very low volume. I can't find any setting where I can increase the volume of the microphone.

The reason why I'm looking for a way is so that when I'm recording some video in a louder environment the sound gets blown out, cause the phone just can't handle the gain control automatically, so I'd like to lower it manually to have nice sounding recordings.

Mar 20, 2012im a current iphone 4s user, and this morning i woke up to see that my iphone's volume cannot be raised or lowered.When i press the +/- buttons the bell icon appears without the white or even grey dots. I can change the ringtone's volume using settings. (speaker's fine) On the other hand, when i double-click the home button & move to the right so i raise the volume, i cannot find the volume's round thing. Therefore i can't hear my music or videos... Only ringtones.(even with my earphones)

Apr 13, 2010If the berry rings while in the holster and I press "up" on the volume rocker, the incoming call alerts stop (stops ringing and vibrating), however, the call is not terminated.If I press "down" on the volume rocker instead, the call is ended and the call is sent to voicemail.Additionally, if I first press "up" to stop the ringing/vibrating and THEN press "down", the caller is NOT sent to voicemail.With the design of the Bold 9000 and my PDAIR holster, it's pure luck which button my finger hits when retrieving the berry after it starts vibrating/ringing.Is there any way I can change the behavior of the volume "down" rocker so it stops ending calls? Or is there some other measure I can take to achieve similar results?I'm using the Azercell 5.0.0.592 OS (installed fresh).

But on her's It presents a Volume changed:headset Plugged/unplugged dialogue on the bottom of the screen and turns down system volume. Which is quite annoying and this thing doesn't need with decreasing volume.

This way it was possible to easily navigate through the music, without having to activate the screen and pressing additional keys.This option is not available on my xperia ray and I was wondering whether this functionality could be added, whenever it is available.

May 9, 2012I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

Jan 13, 2010I have noticed this problem for awhile now. I did a search on the forum and noticed that others are having the problem but I don't see a solution. When I set the volume on the track I am playing either to a low setting or a high setting it always resets itself to what sounds like about 65-75% of the max volume.For example, if I set the volume at max with audio boost, it will lower the volume. If I have the volume set to 30%, it will increase to the "standard" setting.This only seems to affect the headphones (aux jack), I tried it with the external speaker and it stays the same. I have tried it with audio boost on and off, and have enabled and disabled enhanced audio.This is a terrible problem, it renders the media player almost a hazard, especially if you are riding a bike or driving a car and have to play with the volume between every song.

Before I factory reset my phone, I was able to change my volume using the side buttons to go from different levels of sound, then vibrate only, then dead mode (complete silent and no vibrations). Now I only have different levels of sound and dead mode. I read about changing an option in sounds to vibrate only in silent mode, which will fix this but I can't find that either (my suspicians are that this option was taken out in ICS or moved to a secret location to foil my plans).
