Galaxy S5 :: Bluetooth Causes System Volume To Change
Jan 13, 2015
My wife and I both have s5. Mine, no volume change when connecting via bluetooth. But on her's It presents a Volume changed:headset Plugged/unplugged dialogue on the bottom of the screen and turns down system volume. Which is quite annoying and this thing doesn't need with decreasing volume.
Is there a setting somewhere Im missing to shut this off?
I cant figure it out. My phone does not do this, checked with numerous bluetooth devices, mine never does it and heres does.
I've tried to install Helvetica Neue by overwriting "Roboto-Regular.ttf" but only some UI elements have been changed, settings menu is still unaffected, which font file is being used in quick settings, settings menu and notification bar?
Changing font in "Settings > Display > Font Style" will change all UI elements, maybe there is one way to add my own font file into that list?
Any app that can get rid of the loud volume warning when connecting over Bluetooth? I'm sure if I root, I can do it, but not looking to root. I understand the warning is for safety , but the Bluetooth is really quiet for some reason in my truck compared to my previous phones. I need to have the volume set at full so that I can keep the volume of my truck stereo at a normal volume.
My Waze volume from my S5 to my Blue Ant speaker has recently become very low. Hardly audible with A/C blowing and radio at normal listening levels. It used to be extremely loud, to where I had to turn it down some. I have phone media volume maxed (after clicking OK to that annoying message about damaging ears), Waze sound settings maxed, and blue ant maxed. BTW, other sounds from the Blue Ant are excruciatingly loud, like "Say a Command," so it's definitely either an issue with a recent S5 update or a Waze update.
I've found that when i'm making a call from my car using Bluetooth the sound is very distorted, and the person receiving the call is having problems hearing the conversation clearly, but i can hear them with no problem. My question is - how can i change the settings on my S2 to resolve this.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and every time it sync to my 2014 Honda Accord the volume sync and plays music at extremely low volume even on max. Compared to almost any other phone like my iphone 4s that sync the audio for my music no problem. I tried turning the media on and off and deleting the device completely off the bluetooth list and re-adding which still does not work. I am using mobilego and it sucks as it won’t let you sort the order of your music.
When I connect audio via my Bluetooth headset the volume, even on max, is low. Why? If I'm outside I can barely hear anything. It's pathetic. My old M7 was much louder. I rely on my headset whilst driving - it's an LG ToneHow can I fix this without rooting?
I am already extremely hard of hearing and need every bit of extra volume. I can reset media volume as long as the bluetooth earpiece is not turned on, but as soon as I turn it on, it resets to a little more than half way up. how to change this?
I have a Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1. When I first purchased my phone a couple of months ago, I could change my font sizes in the messaging app using the volume buttons. That no longer works. I can however change the font sizes by pinching. What do I have to do to have the volume keys change the font sizes again? Or was that feature removed by one of the updates?
I noticed that on my s6, the volume buttons don't change the sound settings when the phone is locked but when i tried it on my sister's s6 it does. What the problem could be? I'm using nova launcher prime but i don't think that has to do with it.
I've had this problem for a while and now I'm getting work I don't want to miss my phone because I've put it on dead mode. Before I factory reset my phone, I was able to change my volume using the side buttons to go from different levels of sound, then vibrate only, then dead mode (complete silent and no vibrations). Now I only have different levels of sound and dead mode. I read about changing an option in sounds to vibrate only in silent mode, which will fix this but I can't find that either (my suspicians are that this option was taken out in ICS or moved to a secret location to foil my plans).
My volume keys are broken and i cant change volume during calls and in music player. Is there way to change volume without physical volume keys? In radio app i touch screen and volume bar appear.
Every time I select my phone as the Music source in the BMW Nav, the phone chooses the last used music source. So, if I've rebooted the phone and haven't used any media players on phone, it opens the Samsung built in music player and plays the demo song that came with the S6.
If I last opened Spotify, the next time I select my phone Spotify auto plays. Same with Pandora.
Any way to select a default and work around this "last used" setting?
How to change the default app that gets launched when Bluetooth connects? It seems to always launch the built in music app which is definitely not what I want. Can I set this to Spotify or something else?
Just updated to Belle and noticed with the opening tone that system volume was much lower than with Anna. Music and ringtone volume are fine, but applications that use voice or prompts (such as endomondo and language translator) are now barely audible.
My 32gb LG G3 D855 just keeps on lowering the volume by itself. My touch feedback sound is on and just a notch away from full volume. However, the sound is unstable in that it just lowers itself. I keep checking the setting but the level is just the same and not changing.
For example, one series of tapping on the screen has the expected volume. After some time, the next series of tapping on the screen has their sound feedback dropped by itself to very low. It is fluctuating and unstable.
Just now, I turned everything to full volume and tested things out. To my surprise, even my notification and ringtone volumes are also unstable. They go very low to hear at one point, then get back to being loud again. All by themselves. It came to a point where my ringtone is at maximum level, then when I tested it (tapped at the adjuster), the sound was very low. Then after testing again, it goes back to the intended full volume.
In summary, the volume just drops down by itself, then gets back to the expected level, then drops down again. Very unstable.
How to change the 'system ringtone'?? I can select it, but the list of ringtones does not pop up. When I go to the sound settings, I have no problem seeing different ringtones - so it can't be that there are none.
Quite annoying that I have a choice between Silent, Default, Current, and Music. I typically prefer a system ringtone.
I'm still new to Samsung and it's on Cricket. Anyway I've finely figured out how to get into the file system with QPST. BitPim wasn't working for me. What has anyone else done from here? Can you add brew apps to the phone? Or change any system settings? What would really be good is if I could eliminate the ascending volume ring when calls come in. My girl friend has the Samsung My Shot II and it does not have that stupid ascending ring. I know with my last phone (UTStarcom / AudioVox) you could edit some files and get rid of some default sound efx and other stuff. I have the R560
I just bought a brand new renault clio with the medianav system on board. Whenever i am streaming music over bluetooth to the car it has serious skipping issues. Like it will be practically unrecognisable as music, however if i pause and then play again it will work but there is always occasional skipping throughout the song. The thing is music plays fine over my bluetooth speaker at home so i don't think its actually the phone.
I have a Mazda CX& when I want to load my contacts on to the car system it asks me to import my contacts from my 9800 but I can't find were to send my contacts via blue tooth only contact card and it does not work.
I'm having a problem with automatically connecting to my car's handsfree system, I have to go to bluetooth settings every time to get it to connect. Connecting manually works ok though but is very tedious in the long run and not how bluetooth should work to my understanding.
I am unable to connect iPhone 3GS to car audio system via Bluetooth. When I turn in bluetooth in settings (in iphone) the icon appears on the top bar, but as soon I turn away from settings screen the bluetooth icon disappears. I have been trying to connect to my car audio system via Bluetooth which used to work properly a few weeks back.
