BB Accessories :: Loading Contacts To Car System From 9800 Via Bluetooth?
Aug 21, 2011
I have a Mazda CX& when I want to load my contacts on to the car system it asks me to import my contacts from my 9800 but I can't find were to send my contacts via blue tooth only contact card and it does not work.
I have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices. - Entered the code given by the audio unit. - Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
Just taken a Lumia 710 and want to connect to existing carkit112. Phone recognises the kit's existence but just says "cannot connect" No option to enter password given.Anybody got any clues? Also can't transfer phone book from old Samsung by bluetooth using Contacts transfer. It goes through preparation, recognises the phone, sends it a code then just says "cannot transfer"
I have a replacement 4G LTE Xoom that I just received a few weeks ago on warrantee from Motorola. It works fine, except it doesn't seem to be getting the system updates that I have heard are already released. Here's what I have right now:Android 3.2.2Baseband Vers CDMA_N_03.1A.52P ltedc_u_05.15.00Kernel vers 2.6.36.3-g6963abe android-build@apa28 #1build #HLK42BI've gone in multiple times to check system updates and it keeps telling me it's up to date. However, I was supposed to be part of the latest push and got the survey, but never got the update. From what I can see, I'm a version or two behind, but I can't seem to get the newer versions.
like in the topic: I have a problem with rSAP usage in Skoda nav-system Columbus: it stays ON searching for the car nav-system & eats battery level (just being standby): within 24 hrs completely empty. With bluetooth turned on, without previously connecting to my Skoda nav-system, the phone can run for about 10 days standby.Only if I turn off manually the bluetooth subsystem (not just the nav-system connection, but completely turn off bluetooth), then the phone doesn't eat through my battery-level. I dont want that, because it's not neccessary (I have to turn it back on again later & forget to do that), sometimes I forget and find out people can't reach me coz my phone is battery-empty.
I had to restart my Torch 9800 after deleting an application. I pressed "Restart now", it went to the booting/start up screen with the BlackBerry logo and the loading bar at the bottom but then the loading bar froze at the very end.
I tried the ALT + right MAJ + DEL "soft reset" and the battery pull many times but the loading bar kept freezing at the same point everytime. I even removed the battery for a day but nothing changed.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software on my computer recognizes it as a Torch 9800 but is unable to connect to the terminal. I've seen on a forum that you can try to use AppLoader.exe to restore the OS. I'm not sure I did that right though but anyway AppLoader couldn't proceed the step of the connection to my terminal. It recognizes it, asks for the password but can't connect to it. It is kind of as soon as the loading bar freezes, AppLoader is unable to perform anything that could save my Torch.
I received a pop up about a new operating system upgrade for my Torch. I did the upgrade as it told me to do, then connected to Blackberry Desktop Software as it said to do, but now am unsure what to do or if the operating upgrade has happened?
I'm looking at getting a bluetooth headset for my 8520.I will need it only for when walking around at home, or outside on the phone. Not for the car, as that is bluetooth built in.I wear glasses most of the time.Is in-ear best, or do they slip out, and does it feel like having a finger stuck in your ear?Or is over-ear better, holding it there better, but then does that get in the way of the glasses 'hook'?
Anyone having problems connecting to a bluetooth device? I have connected my Samsung WEP40 to my last Blackberry Bold 9000 but it won't even recognize the Bluetooth now. I am trying to connect to a Torch 9800. Carrier is AT&T.
I've had my Torch for 2-3 weeks now. I do not remember ever seeing the twitter app pre installed. I certainly don't remember deleting it. When I go to twitter to download the blackberry app it gives me a notice."Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Twitter for BlackBerry Smartphones."
I don't use twitter that much, but would like it installed in case I do. It's really not my main concern, my main concern is that this is a bigger issue that I need to get resolved before I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work like it's supposed to and won't be able to run other apps. Any ideas? I'm still running the original OS.
My phone will automatically prompt to confirm the request for Bluetooth connection from the CK-7w when I turn the car ignition. When I accept the prompt it would connect. For reasons unknown when I try now it emits two beeps from the car kit and does not connect. No messages etc. I only noticed that when the prompt appears the blue tooth symbol on the phone has two ellipses around it. When I push the phone button to accept the connection a light appears to flash where the confirmation symbol normally appears and then 2 beeps and ellipses disappear from blue tooth symbol on the phone. I updated to the latest firmware on about 6 March 2012 to resolve drop outs etc.
I've experimented with the Apple bluetooth keyboard that came out with the iPads and it seems to work well with limitations on certain keys (ie. some keys like the volume and function keys just don't work). I'm still deciding whether it is really worth the investment...the keyboard is almost full size and is easy to type quickly on.
my hands-free bluetooth in my car worked this morning.I have a new Ford with the Sync system. Tonight I'm getting an error when trying to make a call. Error message says "phone not found" or "phone disconnected" The error message on the phone says". App_net_rim__bb_phone_app67 is not responding process terminated. Sounds ominous! I have the Bold 9700.
After installing Anna on my N8, the Bluetooth connection between the phone and the CK-100 carkit is broken after about 5 minutes. Restarting the car and therefore the carkit makes a new connection which breaks up again after 5 minutes. My other Nokia phone stays connected all the time.
I own a brand new Nokia BH 111 bluetooth headset.I tried to connect it to my windows 7 (ultimate) pc.Its usuall procedure1) insert my bluetooth dongle,2) windows 7 finds the drivers and installs them (for blue tooth dongle only) 3) switch my bh 111 device in pairing mode4) in pc go to control panel--> devices & printers --> add device --> my bh 111 popups up in the list5) when i select it and proceed, win 7 tries to fetch drivers for the device but i cannot find and therefore its not properly installed and i cant use it.I only have trobleshoot enabled in the device which is the same, tryig to download drivers which are unavailable.
my BH-216 bluetooth sometimes not activate with the call even if it's connected to the phone.. i have to put the speaker on & put it back to bluetooth to activate it... i did reset Bluetooth too but still the same... i'm using N8... it was like that before i update it to belle n still the same.. i used BH-208 before n it had the same problem so i got the BH-216 n still the same...
does bh-503 nokia bluetooth handset is compatible with nokia x6 8gb?The list show that it isn't compatible but when i search on net it is found that it is compatible.
For some odd reason my BH-505 headset cannot connect to a Bluetooth dongle in my computer.t works flawlessly with my N8 though. There is nothing wrong with the dongle either.
I usually use bluetooth on my Nokia E71 without any problem. I can stream audio from the Nokia to my Parrot Party speakers, be hands free in my car bluetooth system, can transfer files between my PC and the Nokia. However, for some odd reason, the Nokia does not detect my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. My laptop connects without a problem to this keyboard, but the Nokia won't.
Is it possible to install my bluetooth keyboard (sis file installation) onto my N8. Everytime I try I get a message saying my device doesn't support sis files
I got BH-109 BLUETOOTH black colour from SpiceHotSpot, New Delhi. India. I faced a problem of battery backup. I got it replaced from retailer after 10days but I found the same probem in the second piece which belongs to the same lot i.e, April'2011. Either the lot is effective or the product is effective??
