Nokia Accessories :: Can't Change Volume On BH-905i
Dec 12, 2011
I've bought a pair of bh-905i and it works very well with my N8! However, I can't control the volume from the phone! I'm sure the N8 has this BT profile as I can control the volume of another SE bluetooth headset via the N8.
Bluetooth on the phone is active & connecting to my blacberry/laptop fine. My BH-905i's have been working fine with my N8, but the N9 doesn't see them at all. I have the latest software update.
I received a new pair of BH-905i headphones from Amazon.com yesterday. Last night I connected the charger to let it charge overnight and noted that the charging light was read, meaning connection was good. This morning, the charing light is still red, not green. Does it mean this unit and/or the charger is faulty?
My volume keys are broken and i cant change volume during calls and in music player. Is there way to change volume without physical volume keys? In radio app i touch screen and volume bar appear.
For the last day and a half I've been unable to use my BH-103 Bluetooth earplugs, as the volume is very low. I can hear the content in a quiet room, but not in public or when moving about.
My wired earplugs and another Bluetooth headset have normal volume levels.
What can I check or change. I've powered the unit off overnite while charging, and I've cycled the power (off then on) countless times.
I ve purchased a Nokia 5235 five months ago. The sales pack comes with WH-701 headset. The headset has performed much upto my satisfaction for many days until one day when it suddenly started giving very low volume. The bass and treble is still the same but the volume. I have checked every setting in the phone but in vain.
I updated the firmware on my ck-600 last night and this morning when i tried to turn up the caller volume I couldn't. After some head scratching I noticed the wheel only works now in the counter-clockwise direction. I remember the update did fail half way through and the nokia software prompted me to connect it again and retry. The update picked up where it left off and complete successfully (or so I thought)
I have CK-300 in my car and everything was working fine with my N95 8GB. Now i have bought Nokia N8 and I have a problem with volume output. I can't set volume output with music player or in Carmenu. In music player volume slider goes up and down but it is always the same output (overload). Only if it is fully down, then it mutes.
Yesterday I received my new BH-905i (the batteries were fully charged overnight) which was easy to pair with my N96 (SW 30.033.098.1). But when listening to music from my 8GB microSD, the sound fades completely every 11s for 1s and then comes back for 11s to do the same on and on. This does not happen when listening wired. Also streaming the same music from N96 through Bluetooth in my car works with no problems.
i have 2 Nokia Play 360 and all works fine, but: i canīt change the Loudness from my 3 Nokia N8 (all with Anna and Updates). The same Problem with the Creative D200 Bluetooth Speakers. I must change the Loudness on the Speakers itself.
I cannot change the music volume at all. If I try to change the volume with the buttons on the side of the phone as directed in the "how to" guide then nothing happens. The ringer volume changes, but the music does not.
I have a Droid X. VM-605 volume is very low when I am using Droid Navigation. The volume is just fine during telephone conversations. How can I increase volume during navigation. It was working fine for a yearand then went to low volume the other day.
I recently acquired several bluetooth stereo gateways which work awesome, however they all have the same name and it can take forever to connect to the right one.
Is there any way to set a custom name like you can for pretty much every smartphone out there?
im a current iphone 4s user, and this morning i woke up to see that my iphone's volume cannot be raised or lowered. When i press the +/- buttons the bell icon appears without the white or even grey dots. I can change the ringtone's volume using settings. (speaker's fine) On the other hand, when i double-click the home button & move to the right so i raise the volume, i cannot find the volume's round thing. Therefore i can't hear my music or videos... Only ringtones.(even with my earphones)
I have updared my 5800 from v2.1 to v5.0 now i have a problem with music player that i can't raise or low the volume from the volume keys when i press these keys nothing happen but these keys are working to zoom in and zoom out in camera ! and when i open music player it searches for music and podcasts and this search never end and when i go back to home screen music player still have the old view.
The people I call with my Iphone tell me the can barely hear my voice but I dont know how to manage the volume or the sensitivity of the microphone on my Iphone
I find the call volume very low even in a quiet environment. If outside, I find it very difficult to hear what my clients have said. One fact business people love blackberry is because it has got good call and ringtone volume.N900's ringtone volume is good, but the call volume is just too low. (I have already used the side button to max the call volume, the strange thing is, 50% and 100% make very little difference...)
1. In the phone application, press the Menu key. 2. Click Options. 3. Click General Options. 4. Change the Default Call Volume field. 5. Press the Menu key. 6. Click Save.
Step 1 no prob Step 2, there is no Options to "Click" Had to Click "Setting" then Click "Options" Step 3, couldn't find "General Options" option!
If the berry rings while in the holster and I press "up" on the volume rocker, the incoming call alerts stop (stops ringing and vibrating), however, the call is not terminated. If I press "down" on the volume rocker instead, the call is ended and the call is sent to voicemail.Additionally, if I first press "up" to stop the ringing/vibrating and THEN press "down", the caller is NOT sent to voicemail. With the design of the Bold 9000 and my PDAIR holster, it's pure luck which button my finger hits when retrieving the berry after it starts vibrating/ringing.Is there any way I can change the behavior of the volume "down" rocker so it stops ending calls? Or is there some other measure I can take to achieve similar results?I'm using the Azercell 5.0.0.592 OS (installed fresh).
Before i was using K790i phone in that phone this feature was good Changing the songs in the volume key but know i am using xperia x10 mini there is no such kind of feature.
I noticed this glitch first on Christmas morning when I was using Pandora, the volume wouldn't change and I had to restart the phone to make it work again, then again two days after but using the music and video app. Now again as I type this, I have the developers preview updates along with gdr3 and Nokia black.
It's weird. I'm not talking about DND. Seems as though every time I put ringer on vibrate it reverts back to sound after a while. Same with the media volume. I don't get it?!?!?
My wife and I both have s5. Mine, no volume change when connecting via bluetooth. But on her's It presents a Volume changed:headset Plugged/unplugged dialogue on the bottom of the screen and turns down system volume. Which is quite annoying and this thing doesn't need with decreasing volume.
Is there a setting somewhere Im missing to shut this off?
I cant figure it out. My phone does not do this, checked with numerous bluetooth devices, mine never does it and heres does.
