Nokia Accessories :: N9 Not Connecting To BH-905i Headphones?
Nov 16, 2011
Bluetooth on the phone is active & connecting to my blacberry/laptop fine. My BH-905i's have been working fine with my N8, but the N9 doesn't see them at all. I have the latest software update.
I've bought a pair of bh-905i and it works very well with my N8! However, I can't control the volume from the phone! I'm sure the N8 has this BT profile as I can control the volume of another SE bluetooth headset via the N8.
I received a new pair of BH-905i headphones from Amazon.com yesterday. Last night I connected the charger to let it charge overnight and noted that the charging light was read, meaning connection was good. This morning, the charing light is still red, not green. Does it mean this unit and/or the charger is faulty?
When i connect headphone to make or receive call, i cannot hear anything, but other party can hear my voice. i can hear music with same headphones. is there any settings for this? Phone model is Nokia 500
my headphones are originaly from nokia, and when sb calls me i can't hear enything in my headphones, and i hear it in my phone. If i want to hear music on my headphones i can hear, but when sb calls me or i call sb the headpones don't work.
I purchased the X10i headphones for my N900 today today. There goes another 250 EUR down the drain. The headphones work with my 3 DACs, with my 3 computers and my laptop. With my iPod and my son´s iPod Touch. But not with my N900 ( or my wife´s Nokia Musicexpress). Upon inserting the headphones, they just make a CLACK-CLACK-CLACK-CLACK sound @ 10 CLACK´s a second, until I remove them. Anyone else had the same problem? Or know of any other brand of phone which is incompatible with a pair of headphones?
when I used to connect my old nokia 6300 to my car radio/cd unit (sony 6000 cd) via bluetooth I used to have the call list (as stored in the phone by name displayed in, out, missed etc on the car head unit screen when the phone button was pressed.I was able to scroll through these up/down and select dial to make a call.I have now upgraded to C5 and although connects and makes and recives calls fine all that is displayed in the Sony car unit screen is the numbers not the 'names' as stored on the phone making it tricky to know who I'm calling.Am I doing something wrong do I need to change a setting on the phone? I have 'remote sim' on in the bluetooth menu in the phone.
My mobile model is Nokia 5230 and I have a bluetooth dongle. I want to use PC as my hands-free and record my music classes. Is it possible? I'm able to dial and receive calls from PC when I connect the mobile to PC via cable. But not able to hear anything in speaker. How can I connect my mobile to the soundcard of the PC, so that I can use my microphone and speaker to talk and listen to the other end? I would like to know whether its possible to use my Nokia phone as a USB modem.
Yesterday I received my new BH-905i (the batteries were fully charged overnight) which was easy to pair with my N96 (SW 30.033.098.1). But when listening to music from my 8GB microSD, the sound fades completely every 11s for 1s and then comes back for 11s to do the same on and on. This does not happen when listening wired. Also streaming the same music from N96 through Bluetooth in my car works with no problems.
I replaced my Blackberry, which was working fine with my VM-605. How do I connect the unit with my new machine? (I no longer have access to the former one.)
I want to know if the D3 can connect to wireless headphones and a bluetooth heart rate monitor simultaneously? I am thinking about purchasing a bodymedia link arm band and I would like to use this while also using LG HBS-700 bluetooth headphones. How does it work?
For some reason my playbook is not connecting to my stereo Bluetooth headset(SonyEricsson MW600). Manage to add it to my playbook but its not connecting.
I have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices. - Entered the code given by the audio unit. - Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
When I use a 2.5 (who's ridiculous idea was that, anyway?) to 3.5 converter for my e71x, and have the headphones plugged in all the way, I only get audio out of the right side of the headphones. If I plug the the headphones in just before it clicks in to place, I can get audio out of both sides but since it's not fully plugged in the sound always bounces in and out. I've used multiple converters and headsets, all of which are working properly. Is this a design flaw or do I have a bad one that I need to send in for warranty repair?
Is it ok to use a normal pair of headphones with the Nokia Lumia 800?
Conventional headphones have a 3.5 mm stereo jack, with three connections. The headphones supplied with the Lumia use a 3.5mm jack with four connections.
My concern is whether using the conventional jack will permanently short-out two of the connections, causing unwanted side-effects or damage to the phone?
I'd also like to use the headphone output to connect the phone to my stereo, which I presume will be fine, as long as the three v four connection jack issue isn't a problem.
Everything was working fine on my N8, but it just started to select an accessory as defult and after that is selected, it won't go back to normal.
If you connect the headphones, and they dissconect them, it keeps thinking that they are connected and the loudspeaker doesn't work, during calls I can't hear anything..
I went into settings-> phone-> accessories -> and the defult is set to headset.. but once I select headphones (which i didn't have to do before) it never goes back when I restard the phone, it shows the headphones icon, but there are no headphones connected to the phone..
After I unplugged my headphones today the headphones icon at the top right next to the battery indicator remained. when I take a call I can't hear the person on the other end unless I have headphones plugged in. Also when I play music it won't play on loudspeaker because it thinks headphones are plugged in. i should mention as well that in the past day the phone had trouble recognising when the headphones were plugged in but a quick reset fixed this previously. I've also tried 3 different pairs of headphones.
I have had this phone for 6 months and never had a problem with it before. Is this a hardware or software issue and is there a way to fix it? I've reset the phone as well as hard reset the phone a number of times.
When I am using a headset or a headphone in my N8 and someone calls me or send me a message, I can hear the tone from the headphone and from the phone speaker. So thats's my question: Is that possible to deactivate the tone of the phone speaker when I am using the headset so I can hear it only from the headset?
Few days ago, I was driving, and I connected headphones to answer the call, but did not heard any sound. The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. Before that, it was working fine.
