I have a Droid X. VM-605 volume is very low when I am using Droid Navigation.The volume is just fine during telephone conversations. How can I increase volume during navigation. It was working fine for a yearand then went to low volume the other day.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the last day and a half I've been unable to use my BH-103 Bluetooth earplugs, as the volume is very low. I can hear the content in a quiet room, but not in public or when moving about.
My wired earplugs and another Bluetooth headset have normal volume levels.
What can I check or change. I've powered the unit off overnite while charging, and I've cycled the power (off then on) countless times.
I ve purchased a Nokia 5235 five months ago. The sales pack comes with WH-701 headset. The headset has performed much upto my satisfaction for many days until one day when it suddenly started giving very low volume. The bass and treble is still the same but the volume. I have checked every setting in the phone but in vain.

After some head scratching I noticed the wheel only works now in the counter-clockwise direction. I remember the update did fail half way through and the nokia software prompted me to connect it again and retry. The update picked up where it left off and complete successfully (or so I thought)

Maps 3.08 does not let me calibrate my compass (at least not by ticking once or twice at the compass). By consequence, while navigating it does not orientate the display with the top in the forward direction. I found a workaround by using a separate compass application, calibrate the compass there, and then Maps works perfect. There must be a easier way to calibrate the compass from within the Maps application.

Everytime I get the error 'navigation cannot start at this location' and it doesn't seem like the phone can ever pick up my location.I have tried un-installing and re-installing the application but to no-avail!I haven't even wasted my time calling Nokia Support, as they are totally useless!
getting very frustrated with this now. I have given my dad my N95 to help him get around but just cant get the map navigation to work. I downloaded the Nokia Map Loader (I had to go to a third party website as the Nokia links were all broken) and have the map/voices but when my dad tries to use the navigation it tells him he has to pay.Obviously, I know that Nokia have now made these services free to complete with other company's devices, I'm just being stupid and not going to the right place to download them. Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?
I have updared my 5800 from v2.1 to v5.0 now i have a problem with music player that i can't raise or low the volume from the volume keys when i press these keys nothing happen but these keys are working to zoom in and zoom out in camera ! and when i open music player it searches for music and podcasts and this search never end and when i go back to home screen music player still have the old view.

I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.
