My xperia x10 pro wont let me do anything. it told me it had updates available and wont let me get them. it wont let me get on the market place either and it wont let me sync my contacts to my computer.
View 1 RepliesI bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

In the past but more often recently (actually every time I sync via internet connection), I get theese notifications: am using Bussines Calander Free app as my calendar app. Could this be issue with PC Companion or with BCF?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedTrying to set up the phone to sync with the Calendar in Outlook on my laptop, however it only appears to allow connection directly with an exchange server. I cannot use it that way, as I do not have appropriate corporate approvals for this. Is it possible to sync only to the laptop calendar, if so, how do I do this, do I need an extra piece of software? If I can't set it up in this this way, I'll be returning the phone, as it is no good to me as is.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

However, I recently upgraded to Office 2013, and now PC Companion doesn't recognize Outlook 2013 as a valid source anymore.

For the past one week whenever Gmail app is opened it shows 'Waiting for sync' and after 30 seconds or so the app closes with the message ' Unfortunately - Gmail has stopped'. Now it won't sync and I keep getting random alerts day and night. I've checked the settings and I have a random looking username which I can't change as it's greyed and not selectable. Password is hidden but only shows 8 chars and not 10 as it should be. The only way to stop the annoying alerts is switch background data traffic off, but then my apps like sat nav need it!

It has performed a sync today but only the contacts have done this successfully along with one event on my calander. On my phone, I have a message stating that 'sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly'. The problem is that it has said this for around four weeks. In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.

But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.
