May 9, 2011I am trying to synch my mini pro with Outlook - version 2000 with Windows 7. The computer screen tells me that MicrosoftvOutlook is not installed on my computer when it is.

Jan 28, 2011Trying to set up the phone to sync with the Calendar in Outlook on my laptop, however it only appears to allow connection directly with an exchange server. I cannot use it that way, as I do not have appropriate corporate approvals for this. Is it possible to sync only to the laptop calendar, if so, how do I do this, do I need an extra piece of software? If I can't set it up in this this way, I'll be returning the phone, as it is no good to me as is.

Mar 31, 2011Today I joined the 21c and got an Xperia X10 mini pro.Lovely phone but I need to update and sync my contacts from Outlook or Hotmail.I gather Android refuses to work with Hotmail directly and Active sync doesn't work with Android 2.1.So I was relieved when I saw that I could use PC Companion via Google email (although why I want yet another email account is beyond me), only to find that it is telling me I don't have Outlook installed on my PC.I do!It is Outlook 2010 and is a legal copy! I am trying to love my new phone but right now I am very frustrated.I just want my contacts and my calendar.

Sep 20, 2010I have asked this question before but the answer wasn't any use and no-one replied when I queried it. It just said log into my BT account on a PC I will find them but I did that and still can't find them anywhere. When I send an e-mail from my phone how do I then get the message into outlook on my PC. I look at all my e-mails in the BT Yahoo browser before I download them to Outlook but they do not appear there. The only way I've found so far is to include myself as a copy but there must be a better way. Perhaps someone can be a bit more helpful than the last response.

Jul 8, 2010Bought the X10 mini pro and I am surprised to see that SE in some areas are moving backwards. Synching Outlook contacts and calendar information with (company) Exchange/outlook (not email) seems to be a problem concerning others than me. Luckily, I still have my old W880 where I have installed a twin sim card. I am using the old SE PC-suite to synch my 880 with (company) Outlook, and then synch the 880 with the SE web synch service. Last, synch the X10 with the SE web synch service. Very manpower intensive, but it works.

Dec 16, 2010I bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

Oct 11, 2010After the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

Oct 24, 2010I got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.

I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.
