I´ve just bought a Xperia Mini and though it´s beautiful little phone it doesn´t have sync with Outlook. That is basic feature if you use the phone as a working tool. You can sync music in different ways, but you can´t use it in work.
So I have to warn you all: don´t buy the Experia mini.
Bought the X10 mini pro and I am surprised to see that SE in some areas are moving backwards. Synching Outlook contacts and calendar information with (company) Exchange/outlook (not email) seems to be a problem concerning others than me. Luckily, I still have my old W880 where I have installed a twin sim card. I am using the old SE PC-suite to synch my 880 with (company) Outlook, and then synch the 880 with the SE web synch service. Last, synch the X10 with the SE web synch service. Very manpower intensive, but it works.

I cannot use it that way, as I do not have appropriate corporate approvals for this. Is it possible to sync only to the laptop calendar, if so, how do I do this, do I need an extra piece of software? If I can't set it up in this this way, I'll be returning the phone, as it is no good to me as is.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo for some reason whenever I sync my iphone some song just wont sync. They're imported into itunes, and show up there, but whenever I sync they don't show up. Yes they are selected to sync, and yes I've tried doing a soft reset and even a restore. I've also tried it on an iphone 4 and the same thing happens. I've reinstalled itunes with no luck.

I downloaded Outlook mobile. It synced email immediately, although it won't let me create a trash folder. It still won't sync my calendar though.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using PC Sync for a long while now, and had no problems so far But since about two weeks ago, the entries that have been entered / modified in Microsoft Outlook, are not synced into my phone at all. PC Sync tells a warning message about these events and contacts, says it could not insert entries into the mobile phone. All the entries that have been entered / changed on my phone, are succesfully synced into my Outlook. I did not change / install anything so I do not know why did this issue started about two weeks ago.
Microsoft Outlook ver: 2007 (12.0.6514.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6529.5000)
Phone type: X6-00 (RM-559)
Phone ver: V 20.0.005
With my wife, we got 2 BB Curve 8520 and we're now trying to sync both of them with our Outlook 2003 SP3 on XP SP3. Both do the same thing:
1/ First sync goes well, the BB calendar gets filled up,
2/ Everything syncs well during a few days,
3/ One day, the sync tells us it will delete 3000+ elements on Outlook, of course I click Reject and cancel the sync,
4/ I restart OK by synching one-dir from Outlook tp BB,
5/ A few days after, it returns to step 3 and is behaving bad again.
I can't get any durable solution, the only thing I got is a workaround that lasts only a few days.
Our BB version (mine/my wife's) :
- Platform : 4.2.0.118 / 4.2.0.135
- Application : 4.6.1.274 / 4.6.1.314
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â

Only my calendar syncs wirelessly. I can still sync notes, tasks, contacts to outlook.I would like to be able to do at least a one-way sync from device to outlook. I tried temporarily disabling the wireless sync on the calendar, but it didn't work.So, in a nutshell, how can I wirelessly sync to my work calendar, AND desktop sync to outlook at home.

I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).

Had the Sony Xperia Z2 from 15 days ago, Phone is switched itself off with no warning, had 26% battery.. plugged it on charge straight away, nothing but a red flashing light. Its been on charge ever since, so over 1 day, still nothing.
Luckily i have a spare phone so am using that for the time being, however i have 100's of pictures stored on my phones internal memory and contact really need access to them.

I want to turn off the warning messages that pop up in the default message app (e.g. the message that shows the number of characters or number of messages). These messages pop up right in the text box and are very annoying, I often have to stop typing to wait for the message to go away so I can see what's been typed or to edit. How do I turn these off?

This warning immediately stops the video recording, while there is more than enough power left to finish what I wanted to record (a band's performance). This is very annoying.
