received warning that I am running out of memory on my X10 Mini Pro. At the same time I could no longer receive sms messages, just send.
Cleared memory card files, sms' and updated to:
- Android 2.1.1.A.0.6
- 11 MB available phone memory
- 1 GB available memory card storage
Warning on out-of-memory remains, still can't receive text messages. What to do? Is 11 MB phone memory too low? Then, how to clear?
After installing many apps my phone now says that its low on memory. but i do have 1.75 GB available space on my memory card. How can I install the Apps on memory card instead of phone memory?

I updated my software and it worked but then the problem came back again so i repaired it..which reinstalled the software and it worked but it came back again. It dint show any error or anything, I just could no longer receive msgs. Just last saturday i once again repaired it, and on monday im stopped receiving sms. At about the same time it shows that my memory is full even though i changed to an 8GB card. i only have 1GB of data on it. What can i do? ive tried using other sim cards and clearing the messages. No luck I think all my apps are being saved to phone memory which is slowing down the phone too and giving me that alert. Is there a way for me to transfer my downloads to the SD card?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi bought a new x10 mini pro. it comes with 2gb card. i used it for sometime. it was just awesome. then i thougt of upgrading it. i bought a 8gb micro sdhc card. i started using it.. and from the first day.. it made my phone heavy. it restarts. hangs up. screen times out. nothing is visible i click photos they are shown corrupted in the album. i went to the service center they asked for updation of software and charged me also. but it also didn't work up. i restored my phone to facotry settings.. and formatted the card too. when i used the same card with some other phone it was good enough. it just hangs up my phone. while listening to the music also it stops working the phone restarts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince a few weeks now, i don't receive all text messages that are sent to my phone by contacts anymore.I can't pin an exact number how much messages are 'gone missing', but for example, yesterday i was texting the whole day with a friend,and of the on average 25 messages she sent, 3 never reached my phone. Also, sometimes when i get a message the text stops in midway and it ends with a piece of text from another message, that i received weeks ago. However, this problem has dimished over the past weeks. By the way, i have to add, i'm thinking of doing a factory reset, but for that i need to save all my contacts. i tried exporting all my contacts to my sim (using the import/export function in contacts),but when i used my sim on an older phone, only half of my contacts were transferred.I have to add that i got a notification that the sim was full, so some data wasn't transferred.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So I am unable to copy data to and from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have trouble with the phone recognizing my memory card - the card is SanDisk 16GB, class 10. I've lost the card I got with the phone, so I got this one. At first, it would say "Insert card", like it wasn't there, but the phone knew when I would remove it. A few times I'd get "Card damaged" message, the other times "Card is empty or not supported filesystem". 2 times I managed to get to work, but trying to take a picture crashed the camera app. I've tried formatting it several times. Right now, it's not reading the card at all. I can't check the card with my PC, since I don't have a card reader. It's getting really annoying, since I can't use the phone for almost anything. I too have the same symbol and if you drag the top nootification browser, it keeps on about inserting an sd card. Great! didn't get one with the phone but......there is a 2gb SD adapter that you should have had with the phone. Says it's standard but...ok...how do you use it? You may have one in the box too. I haven't a clue though used to using flash drives on my computer. This has me flummoxed. I put the adapter in the USB on home computer, recognises it, but it appears nowhere on the PC. I believe you still have to get a separate micro SD card to utilise the adapter!!! So.......why says its a 2gb when itt's clearly not??
Probably not helpful but you should have an adapter but you will still need a proper SD card as there is not one supplied. Stupid really as you can't get updates on it unless you have an SD Card and its greater capacity. Unfortunately, it's the policy of these companies to give you something...and then force you to buy essential extra's to utilise the potential of the phone! Cynical or what!
I updated to the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich but now when I add files from PC to memory card the phone does not update the list of songs or albums of photos or something else, you can see them with the file manager but are not added automatically to the file library like older version, please help me.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have bought a new mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro Sk17i and using a 4GB Micro SD Transcend card in it. All goes fine. But sometimes when I open the camera it shows an error "Memory card is write protected. Cannot edit files". The same error I get when I try to open the galler or media player. But I use a third party File manager App which shows and allow me to open the contents in the Micro SD card except image and music, video files. Other files such as .pdf, .html open in Adobe reader, HTML viewer or browser without any issue. Also this error does not appear after I restart the mobile. For some 5 - 6 usage of camera this error again appears. And the card is not damaged since I checked with connecting to the Laptop thorugh USB mode (both Mass storage and Media transfer mode) also through a card reader, everything works fine.
