Xperia mini pro Android 2.3.4 . I keep getting the message that my phone is running low on memory. As a consequence, it will not do certain app-updates (like Facebook) and seems to be running slower each time. I have a 16 GB SD card installed so I should have plenty of memory. I moved all APPS which can be moved to the SD card.I have tried un-installing various apps.

Repaired the software on PC companion while the memory card is mounted (Hence phone doesn't restart when it's mounted by the PC). Still no Joy with it. If I use the original 2GB one it does work no problem. Tried the memory card in a different phone and it works straight away.

I don't want to try 64 GB, but I thought about 32 GB class 10 card (now I am using 16 GB, class 10). Should I expect any slowdown of my phone?

But if I type in my home number and ring it, it comes up with ringing home. Yet if the contact weren't saved on the phone it would come up with random number ringing and not saying calling home. View 1 Replies View Relatedi bought a new x10 mini pro. it comes with 2gb card. i used it for sometime. it was just awesome. then i thougt of upgrading it. i bought a 8gb micro sdhc card. i started using it.. and from the first day.. it made my phone heavy. it restarts. hangs up. screen times out. nothing is visible i click photos they are shown corrupted in the album. i went to the service center they asked for updation of software and charged me also. but it also didn't work up. i restored my phone to facotry settings.. and formatted the card too. when i used the same card with some other phone it was good enough. it just hangs up my phone. while listening to the music also it stops working the phone restarts.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI connected my phone to my laptop using the usb cable, just wanted to copy pictures etc as per usual. PC companion said there was an update, followed the instructions including holding the back button down while reconnecting the cable. Halfway through updating there was an error, and laptop and phone both froze. Laptop is working now (after force shutting down by taking out the battery), but phone is neither on/off, instead there is just a flashing error signal of an exclamation mark ! inside a triangle, next to a graphic of the phone.I've tried restarting the phone, charging the phone, pressing both the on & home key, and taking out battery and sim card... nothing has worked!

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So I am unable to copy data to and from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have trouble with the phone recognizing my memory card - the card is SanDisk 16GB, class 10. I've lost the card I got with the phone, so I got this one. At first, it would say "Insert card", like it wasn't there, but the phone knew when I would remove it. A few times I'd get "Card damaged" message, the other times "Card is empty or not supported filesystem". 2 times I managed to get to work, but trying to take a picture crashed the camera app. I've tried formatting it several times. Right now, it's not reading the card at all. I can't check the card with my PC, since I don't have a card reader. It's getting really annoying, since I can't use the phone for almost anything. I've updated my phone to the latest software, but still nothing.

I too have the same symbol and if you drag the top nootification browser, it keeps on about inserting an sd card. Great! didn't get one with the phone but......there is a 2gb SD adapter that you should have had with the phone. Says it's standard but...ok...how do you use it? You may have one in the box too. I haven't a clue though used to using flash drives on my computer. This has me flummoxed. I put the adapter in the USB on home computer, recognises it, but it appears nowhere on the PC. I believe you still have to get a separate micro SD card to utilise the adapter!!! So.......why says its a 2gb when itt's clearly not??
Probably not helpful but you should have an adapter but you will still need a proper SD card as there is not one supplied. Stupid really as you can't get updates on it unless you have an SD Card and its greater capacity. Unfortunately, it's the policy of these companies to give you something...and then force you to buy essential extra's to utilise the potential of the phone! Cynical or what!
