I have Chat (or Nokia Messenger for IM) version 2.0.10 installed on my E72. I used to be able to use it for Gtalk and MSN chatting. But now I can not log in anymore. I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?

the chat and ovi store app is not working after updated my phone.When i tried to open store i was getting it in a conflicting applications. Can i update my phone software again even with new software on my phone?

View 6 Replies View RelatedTwo moths ago, there was an update to nokia chat. I've installed it, but afer that nokia chat ceased to function. When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.

I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".

I can't even type a new message anymore, or can't receive one.My nokia n8 went to nokia than and came back friday with factory settings. Than the sms worked again fine.Today i reinstalled the back up i made with nokia suite before the nokia 8 was sent to nokia and after that sms stopped working again. What can i do to solve this ? View 3 Replies View RelatedThe email client on my N8 with Belle suddenly stopped working. I have configured my email with IMAP (Standard not OVI!) and it was working OK until a couple of days ago. Now I can not retrieve/send any email - I always get the message: "Unable to sign in. Try again.". I also tried and removed this particular account and added it once again (as a matter of fact I did this about 10 times!!!) but still no emails are shown. Of course this same mail is working perfectly on all of my PCs and notebooks.

If i connect with my sister account for example, it does work. sometimes it talks about 501 error, but i've tried to reboot the bb, erase the cache and even reinstall the app several times and it keeps not working. Sometimes it says that i'm already connected but then there is no one connected. i've checked on the facebook.com site from the pc but there appear a lot of people online so i don't understand what happens to my chat on bb.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince some time ago the "QuickRemote" app is not working anymore on my LG G3 (D850). Even tried installing another remote app (SURE Universal) that had also worked here in the past, but the result was the same, it was launched but nothing happened.
The QuickRemote app behaviour is that it runs, but also stays in the background like trying to launch, just a loading circle is shown below the quick access buttons.
I thought that probably the .apk could have been deleted so I went to settings->general->apps to check if the QuickRemote app was there, and indeed it's still there. So tried clearing the data & cache w/out success.
Now the curious thing here, it that I searched the word "remote" along my device (with a file manager) and didn't find nothing. So I don't know if the apk was deleted, but rarely the search didn't find it, but it also appears in the apps section.
First post ever but I've been following this site for blackberry advice for a while, but this time I can't seem to find an answer to my dilemma, I've seen on most posts regarding the black screen blinking red light issue but the problem stemmed from installing the OS. Thats not the issue I have, while at work I was chatting with my friend on blackberry messenger but a customer came by so I holstered my blackberry, by the time I finished and took out my blackberry the screen was black and won't turn on, I naturally assumed that my phone died although it was awkward for it to die at like 45% battery life so I ignored it until I got home. I placed my blackberry on my cradle to see if it'll charge but the screen remained black and the LED light blinks twice then stops, then blinks twice again and so forth. Should I do what the posters suggested? Run that program and reinstall an OS hoping it will save my blackberry?
