then back to home screen. i have tried to reload chat and have done a factory reinstall. still no IM services loading.
the chat and ovi store app is not working after updated my phone.When i tried to open store i was getting it in a conflicting applications. Can i update my phone software again even with new software on my phone?

Its the icon with a little yellow speech bubble on top of a bigger white speech bubble, the one that shows on the home screen. As I've lost this icon I cant use msn messenger. How can I get it back? I even changed my Yahoo password but still doesn't work.

I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?

View 15 Replies View RelatedTwo moths ago, there was an update to nokia chat. I've installed it, but afer that nokia chat ceased to function. When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.

I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".

If i press 'options' & then 'capture', it will hang. If i try exiting it, it wont unless i switch off d fone.
