I have a problem with sending and receiving bbm chats, when i go to send a message a red X shows up, iv tried sending messages to other people but it does the same. iv tried everything from taking out the battery for a few seconds to restarting the connections, nothing seems to be working?

I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?

then back to home screen. i have tried to reload chat and have done a factory reinstall. still no IM services loading.
I have a blackberry 9360 but the chat of facebook doesn't connect with my account. If i connect with my sister account for example, it does work. sometimes it talks about 501 error, but i've tried to reboot the bb, erase the cache and even reinstall the app several times and it keeps not working. Sometimes it says that i'm already connected but then there is no one connected. i've checked on the facebook.com site from the pc but there appear a lot of people online so i don't understand what happens to my chat on bb.

Including me there are 8 people in the group chat, everyone in the group chat is using Verizon except me who is using Tmobile and another user in the chat that is using sprint. The problem is that I do not get everyones messages but if I do get any messages I only receive a couple from some users and they are very delayed, Like hours delayed.

I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst post ever but I've been following this site for blackberry advice for a while, but this time I can't seem to find an answer to my dilemma, I've seen on most posts regarding the black screen blinking red light issue but the problem stemmed from installing the OS. Thats not the issue I have, while at work I was chatting with my friend on blackberry messenger but a customer came by so I holstered my blackberry, by the time I finished and took out my blackberry the screen was black and won't turn on, I naturally assumed that my phone died although it was awkward for it to die at like 45% battery life so I ignored it until I got home. I placed my blackberry on my cradle to see if it'll charge but the screen remained black and the LED light blinks twice then stops, then blinks twice again and so forth. Should I do what the posters suggested? Run that program and reinstall an OS hoping it will save my blackberry?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am totally furstrated and cant chat with a particular contact on BBM. I have tried reinstalling BBM many times. The contact shows up on my list. As soon as i send a message it says reinvite contact. When i hit reinvite nothing happens. The same happens with the other person when he tries to message me. And the best part is that we are unable to even delete each other. So we cant add again. So its a big mess.

Then I have 4 options Continue, Close Connection, View Certificate or Trust Certificate. It doesn't matter which one I select and follow, the message still keeps appearing.
