Both applications: AccuWeather and AP mobile are unable to connect to network anymore after I upgraded 808 PureView to Feature Pack 2, regardles of selection of wlan or gsm/umts.
View 7 RepliesI often mistype a word, or forgot to change to an alternate one. Before I could erase a few letters and then finish the word with T9 prediction. After my upgrade to Anna I now have to erase the whole word... Is there no way to activate the T9 for the word I am correcting?

I can connect to a wi-fi with success but i can not connect to internet i get "mobile data off/connection unavaliable".I looked into network settings set priority of active wi-fi to 1 and tied like 10 random wi-fis My internet works fine if i`m not into wi-fi so i guess it`s a option that i must have changed to deactivate wi-fi or something like that
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 700. Upgraded to 112.010.1404 via Nokia Suite as soon as I got it. I have set my WiFi network as the highest priority. I can connect to my WiFi network, yet after a while of inactivity the phone starts using 3G data again. I go into the WiFi networks and see that my network is listed as "Known" but not "Connected". I have to manually select it to re-connect.Power saving mode for WiFi is set to off.Is there a setting to automatically connect to any known WiFi network when in range? I am happy to manage battery life by manually turning ove WiFi when not needed.

I flashed the phone back to its original ROM which is Hong-kong ROM with windows phone recovery tool, it has not fixed the issue. The phone does not connect to GSM network anymore. It appears that the band might have been messed up.

i can install some app but some of them are cancelled with this error message "Network connection lost cancelling installation" and there's a message to select a particular icon to continue installation, but i cant find that icon in my N8 some snapshot of this error is attached
Ever since I got my lumia 800, 5 days after its release, I have never been able to connect to my wireless network at home.
I have tried everything I can think of. I am using a Linksys WAG160N modem router running WEP encryption.
I know the WEP key (because I made it) so I know it is correct, but the phone always says that the password is incorrect.
I have updated my Nokia 5800 and ever since when I try to go on the internet via Orange it won't let me. I can't even use or set up Wi-fi. When I go into settings and connectivity there is no option to select or search for WLAN. When I try to add new access point it tells me that my network destination needs to be set first.Any ideas what I need to do please?

I noticed, there are few things missing and some problems occurred when I upgraded to version 5. Eg. Memopad, No column in option for alarm tones, my BB getting slower during browsing, everytime I try to connect to wi-fi, it will be intermittent or not connected.For unable to connect to wifi, I suspected it is browser issue but then I set to default setting it is still the same.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just updated my N8 from symbian anna to belle. Everything went ok. Now I'm trying to connect to my home wifi network which has WEB security. I can connect without a problem. I mean the phone says it's connected to the network. But when I try to access a website there is only the error page. And after a minute or so the wifi connection drops out by itself. I saved the network, and there's no other destination in the settings/destinations menu. the phone is not connecting to it by itself. Is there a way to go back to Anna?

-removed battery

-called verizon
-went to a verizon wireless store

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason after upgrading to Belle I have lost the option to switch geo-tagging on in the camera settings. It is just not there where it used to be. I need this for work, that is why I got myself a camera phone with this option.
Anybody have this problem or am I just looking in the wrong place to switch it on / off? It used to be in the camera settings menu,now I have only: image quality - show captured image - default image name - capture tone - memory in use - restore camera settings.
I just noticed that I cannot tilt the screen anymore (when I hold it vertically screen doesn't adjust).

I am unable to connect to Rim's push network, Att 3g bar shows five bars and I can make calls and send texts but recieving email or using bbm cant be done. weird thing, when i log on to a wifi connection RIms icon comes back and i start recieving email and bbm works. View 2 Replies View RelatedI had 3G connection until today afternoon. To check if the Cyan update is available, I changed the region to US and back to India. After this the phone is not connecting to cellular data network, even though I can make voice calls. It connects to Wi-Fi without issues. So far I have tried the following -
1. Soft reset (power and volume down)
2. Change region back and forth
3. Hard reset (twice)
Internet APN is set to internet, but still no connection and the status bar is not showing E/3G or H+.
