I recently brought a new Sony Xperia Neo L. It is working fine with 3G network but when I am trying to connect to 2G network, it always display unable to connect selected network. I have tried to repair my cell phone using PCC and also done factory reset many times but every times it is only able to connect to the 3G network.
View 8 RepliesI have an Xperia PLAY and recently the screen went fuzzy and I couldn't see anything so I had it repaired. However when I got it back it will not connect to my network which is Vodafone Ireland. When I try to connect it says "Your SIM Card does not allow a connection to this network". I have changed the mode from WCDMA and GSM and vice versa but still it won't connect. I even got a new sim card to try that. It will work with any of my older phones but not this one. The phone works perfectly at everthing else including internet by Wi-Fi but not as a phone.

In the last eight days my connection to the BB network stopped and I have not been able to connect to the internet or the BBM. I find it difficult to even top up my phone except through vtu, and my contract with the MTN is active until December 8th. I heard that it is a global problem.

-removed battery
-removed sim card and re-inserted sim card
-ran a diagnostics test
-called verizon
-went to a verizon wireless store

I am unable to connect to Rim's push network, Att 3g bar shows five bars and I can make calls and send texts but recieving email or using bbm cant be done. weird thing, when i log on to a wifi connection RIms icon comes back and i start recieving email and bbm works. I am going to call att, anyone else have this issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had 3G connection until today afternoon. To check if the Cyan update is available, I changed the region to US and back to India. After this the phone is not connecting to cellular data network, even though I can make voice calls. It connects to Wi-Fi without issues. So far I have tried the following -
1. Soft reset (power and volume down)
2. Change region back and forth
3. Hard reset (twice)
Internet APN is set to internet, but still no connection and the status bar is not showing E/3G or H+.

I have tried everything I can think of. I am using a Linksys WAG160N modem router running WEP encryption.
I know the WEP key (because I made it) so I know it is correct, but the phone always says that the password is incorrect.
Over the last 24hrs my phone is saying initialization failure and I am unable to connect to my service provider or my wireless network.

I've tried resetting the router, rebooted it, rebooted the phone, forgot the network and reconnected. Nothing works. My mobile network still works though. The Network Key is good. With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider.After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. I had a high respect for Sony. Now I feel terrible. I feel my switching from Nokia to Sony is a big mistake.I am from India.
